A while back, I made a special line called 'Micro Mecha'. The original plan came from mucking around with a couple parts here and there to make a skeleton that would work for any mech. It's not in scale in any way, but it was still a fun thing to do. Then, however, I stopped. It happens; I lose interest with lines. The main issue was the small details in the head and arms. This time, however, those details have been fixed. So, I present to you, Micro Mecha 2.0: a new line for making super deformed mechs.

This skeletal system allows for many different mechs to be built. The example's I'm going to show you are Gundam specific, but any robotic character should be able to work.

I'll tell you right now that the articulation's quite bad, but that's not the point here. The point is to make tiny mecha that sit on your desk looking cute.

There are studs everywhere for you to use. You can also design any head you like.

Waist articulation is optional, BTW. Some of my designs can use it, others can't.

Here are some examples of what you can build. First, there's the ZGMF-X20A Strike Freedom Gundam I made.

At this scale, getting the gold parts working is crazy. I did allow the backpack to open, though.

Next, we have a redesign of the RX-77-2 Guncannon.

This one shows off the sheer bulk you can create using the frame. Note that the shoulders have parts swapped out, as you can do with any element of this mech.

And that's it! Make sure to download and make some of these for yourself. Tomorrow, I'll show off the first 'new' design for this line: the MBF-P02 Gundam Astray Red Frame. Requests are taken at any time, so please enjoy. And as always, happy building! :)

Could I maybe get an LDD file for the redesigned Guncannon?
