Tectonic Transmitter
A new Classic Space creation. :)
About this creation
Hereby I proudly present this fine piece of Classic Space beauty.
The Tectonic Transmitter has been build according to the basic rules of the annual Classic Space Pocket Money Contest.

...this time without the help of the CSPMC-ExCom.... ;)

The part count is exactly 100 parts (assembly parts and spaceman count as 1 part each).
The alternatives are missing but gladly this is just for exercise and not the real contest.
The color scheme is from the real sets of the time period around 1986 till 1988.

I also took care of some cool playfeatures. You can detach the cockpit section and raise the wings (these are locked during attachement) and retract the landing gear.
In the back you can open the storage and take the droid to help the spaceman by the work, whatever hes doing out there.

If you like this set-like build, just leave a comment.
Serious critics are also very appreciated, esspecially by the two CSPMC-judges.

The pictures can be seen in a better (bigger) resolution at Flickr .

You captured the vintage look and feel of Classic Space very very well in this vehicle. I like all the little features and of course the colors. Keep On Brickin'!

Quoting Damon Corso This is just great! I saw this and thought the CSPMC started early! Haha. It's amazing that this is only 100 parts! Nice work. I really dig how you included the necessary sidekick robot from the era, right on cue. One of my favorite features has to be that the front separates and the wings fold out, excellent concept, a wonderful update to the old style of ships from the era. I really hope to see some alternate builds from this set. I'm inspired to start getting some practice in before the contest! Cheers old friend.
Jep you cant start practising early enough! ;) I think theres more possible within the 100 parts but for this set I "just" need 2 days and for my last entry at the CSPMContest several weeks. ;) Thx 4 your comment mate! :D
