A little steampunk table scrap I made the other day. As always just an experiment to test out my skills in other genres. I don't do a lot of steampunk, and I rarely do anything robotic/mech like striders. It was quite fun though so I may do a bit more like this in future.
About this creation
Well it's been a while, Mocpages. I started out this summer thinking how much time I would have to spend building, but in reality I only managed to get this one moc done. I had schoolwork this summer, along with a part time job, so this didn't help. By it also seemed like I always wanted to build when I coudn't (when I wasn't home or when I was at work), but then as soon as I actually got time to go build, I sort of got a writers block, but for building. Anyways I'm dissapointed I wasn't more active. With school starting tomrrow for me I'm not sure how active I'll be able to be in the upcoming months but I hope to be more active at least online commenting and chatting in the groups even if I don't have time to make many mocs. On another note I jsut had my birthday recently and am now an AFOL. Anyways, onto the moc. There isn't much to say. Just a little clockwork machine that was inspired by listening to the album Clockwork Angels by Rush, which in case you're wondering is a great album (prog rock for those of you who don't know Rush). For some reason I always get a steampunk vibe from that album, if anyone else gets that let me know, I'm curious if it is just me.
