Sea Raven Submarine
About this creation

Another Decisive Action build. In this game, every like counts, and I'd like to say a huge thank you to everyone whose been putting up with my somewhat unpredictable creations and supporting me anyway. Some of you also pulled through for me at my behest a couple days ago, and for that I'm very grateful. But most of all, this game aside, I love hearing from you all in the comments. It's what makes MOCpages such a great community, and I'm always appreciative of your words.

With that said, onto the build!

The Sea Raven submarine scours the ocean floor, scouting out enemy craft or underwater resources.

The hatch at the back opens to allow the pilot to get in and out. Perhaps I shouldn't have left it open underwater...

The weapon system is hidden in plain site. Rising into attack position, the cannon hovers over the revolving periscope.

Powered by a turbo propeller at the back, the Sea Raven skims through the ocean, unseen and unheard by all but the most astute observer.

Thanks for stopping by, any likes and comments are appreciated! Hopefully you enjoyed this short tour under the seas.

Attention in the Ready Room…The rules for the third iteration of Decisive Action have just been posted in the DA3 Ready Room. We built the Ready Room so motivated competitors could study the DA3 rules and gain understanding before the game begins on 7 April 2018. Well, the rules are now posted. So report to the Ready Room. Get the information, get your head in the game, and above all… get ready. Build! Post! Review! Attack! This is Decisive Action.

Love it when you show up with a new build, Luke. This is great. Shows another angle of sci-fi, and does it well. Nice use of that windscreen too. I've never immediately thought submarine when I looked at, but now that I see it so applied, I wonder why it didn't occur to me before. Really fits. Nice work, there. The environment is well represented, too. All in all, a well realized MOC.

Oooh this is gorgeous. Incredible design and aleekness of the sub itself, but I have to say that the way you simulated the water is stunning. It not only looks really cool, but gives a lot of depth to the overall build. Excellent work!

The submarine is awesome, the background is beautiful, but the best part is the fact that sand is crawling out of the square diorama. It looks so aesthetically pleasing to me. Great job and good luck.

Quoting El Barto ! Cool build! That backdrop is pretty nifty, too. What kind of bricks are those?
Thanks Chief! They're just 1x2 trans dark blue bricks, the most common ones without the centre column. I set up a light behind each panel to give it that slight gradient glow though.
