HMS Victory
And now taking on the classics!
About this creation
This LDD-design was made during April, May, June and August 2015.
It is designed to be a display item, so the interior is made as a sturdy frame.
I hope that I can make it a real build.
The scale of the model is 1:40‘ish
Length: (hull) 168 cm
Length: (overall) 256 cm
Height: (from keel to top of main mast) 176 cm
Bricks: 45.000 (more or less)
Enjoy
Anders T

Quoting Henrik Jensen An absolutely amazing LDD-ship. I`m quite amazed to see the level of details. It`s really beautiful! These small Pictures doesn`t do this build Justice, so I`m glad I found you on Flickr. https://www.flickr.com/photos/131641614@N06/21065964930/in/photostream/

Quoting Nick Barrett Oh my, what a treat! It's beautifully done, and I really admire your hull shaping; I know how difficult that is : http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/407465 if you're interested. There are many things we've done differently on our respective versions, and your level of detail exceeds mine. Bravo, sir!
Your version has been a constant inspiration in making this design. I consider your version the best model of the HMS Victory that has been built.

Quoting Jimmie Martinez This is one LDD masterpiece I truly hope becomes reality. Brilliant work with true shipbuilding craftsmanship at every level possible. BOAJEWD.
Now I'm going to sound old and so on, but what does "BOAJEWD" mean?

Quoting Gabor Pauler The classic Anders T-quality. I am truly amazed by your models. It is top of the world in Lego ship modeling. You should publish some kind of a guide for MOCers community how to create reasonable hulls in minfig scale (just like Matt Bace did it at microscale), because tons of Minecraft-looking MOC hulls flood everything...
Thanks man, but it's actually pretty straight forward. I use the same drawings as other ship modelers would, and then go from there. I have gone through the process in some of my older creations.

Wow! Absolutely incredible work on the hull shaping, and on the details, including the use of color. This is one of the best LEGO sailing ships I've ever seen.

I'm not into ships, but this design simply blows my mind away. This is absolutely great LDD work. The hull is well sculpted and the overall size is huge. The details are super cool. Any idea how much parts this ship has. That could be interesting to know.Congratulations
