Ghar, the Redeemed Earth V5
V5 of my self-MOC, Ghar, Toa of Earth!
About this creation
Hello everyone on the Pages!

Welcome to the final installment...for now I guess, to the Doomed Toa Updates! We've seen all the others, but none of them compare to what I have today!

Just last September was the MOCaversary of my self-MOC, Ghar, Toa of Earth. Now, a year later, I believe I have done it: I have created my definitive version of Ghar (for now)!

So let's not push it any further, let's get onto the MOC!

NAME: Ghar
SPECIES: Onu-Matoran (Toa)
HOMELAND: Southern Island of Una-Nui
TOA TEAM: The Doomed Toa
POWERS: Control over earth, soil, rock, and dirt
WEAPONS: Quakebow
FORMS: Matoran, Toa, Hordika (non-cannon)
STATUS: Currently active on Spherus Magna
PERSONALITY: Intelligent, strategic; not comfortable around others, with the exception of his friends and allies; humorous in the face of adversity; prefers solitude rather than teamwork; doesn't speak out often, but others can easily read his emotions by his expressions

Theme: Somewhere I Belong by Linkin Park

Ta-da! Here he is once again!

Front view.

Side view.

Back view.

Again, torso is mostly the same as before. There are some pieces wedged inside the Nuva chest to fill in some gaps.

Also, some black studs to cover the pins in his chest.

The back is still a mess of technic parts, but it looks a bit cleaner now.

Arm is still the arm, Nuva shoulders and everything. The top is still a bit gappy, I may have to work on fixing that.

For the hand I added in another thumb. Excuse the gunmetal, I don't have anymore black ones, and it's only on the hand when the weapon isn't.

Thighs are still the thighs.

And the back is still the same.

Now here's the big change. His lower legs are Lesovikk's that I replaced.

They are a bit modified from before, so now the knees have friction adders. That's mostly to allow him to bend decently, but it does make him a tad taller again. It's not as bad as before, though.

Here's another bonus: this axel goes into the leg here and...

...I can use a rubber band and a technic piece to attach a new mask to his hip!

I got a whole bunch of different colored Pakari's from Lew, and one of them was a custom painted silver version. I loved it and decided that I will include it somehow in my story. I'm not going to tell you how, but it won't appear for a long while.

Some pics of him wearing it!

So now back to the right hand. I can flip the thumb to the back and the pin to the top and...

...attach the quakebow!

This hasn't changed in build, but I did add a rubber band to hold the pieces together because they would always come apart when I removed the bow.

A picture with his weapon!

What's this? Who's just showed up?

Why, it's Quake, Ghar's pet turtle!

Loving this picture!

Well there you have it, everyone! My self-MOC is back in business! I hope you all enjoyed this post!

Some news! First off, for anyone who hasn't seen, I have Chapter 3 of the Doomed Toa Story up to read right here and if you don't have a Fanfiction.net account, I encourage you to comment on it on this post.

Also, check out my Flickr, TTV Message Boards, and YouTube accounts using the links on my home page! I might be doing some video reviews soon for YouTube, so look forward to those!

As always,
Comment and Enjoy!

Really cool improvements! The thing that's weird is, the mask was supposed to be "hammered" silver(that's what its called), with craters in the paint, but now it doesn't look like that anymore, maybe gabe sanded it.

Great work once again! Ghar's looking incredible! The thumb and pin switch was a nice touch as well. That silver mask looks really good on Ghar as well and I'm very interested in seeing what you plan to do with it!

He certainly did do a good job. I could've sworn it was made in that color...

Nice! I personally think the back is a bit messy but at least it's better than it was. Other than that I love it! Nice idea with the thum pin thingy.!

I'm glad you like him! Nope, it is custom painted by Lew. He did a darn good job with it!
