ESO (or ESOTU – Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited) was my first real MMORPG. I started playing in October 2014, one year ago, and an end is not in sight, although I play it on a very regular basis, often several times a week.
About this creation
For those of you who are not familiar with dolmen or dark anchors in ‘The Elder Scrolls Online’, here is a screenshot of one from the game. And this is an image of an activated dolmen .
A dolmen in ESO is a very impressive thing which you can see here in a cinematic trailer (a bit more dramatic than the ones in the game but still …).
It is a kind of portal that connects the world of Tamriel with the one of Coldharbour.
As a gamer, you have to close those portals by fighting daedric creatures that appear around an active dolmen.
ESO takes place about 1,000 years before ‘Skyrim’, the extremely well known and successful single player game from the Elder Scrolls series, which I paid tribute to with another MOC not long ago.
Finally, a little compilation of details. You can see my main character and his pig ‘Pasqui’ fighting a storm atronach while attacked from behind, Marada, our vampire healer (she doesn’t heal vampires, she is a vampire and heals us) and her little monkey fighting a zombie.
Then there is Karathar, a Khajiit and my twink, both fighting Spider Daedras (I forgot to build the Spider Daedra’s big butts, sorry) and a close-up shot of the little camp near the dolmen.
I created this little microscale MOC to show the complete dolmen. The portal ring above the anchors and chains would have been to big, heavy and expensive in the minifig scale MOC.
I'd also have to remove my ceiling ;o)
This is so impressive. I have never even heard of the game that this is from but this alone has made me want to check it out, because if the game is anything like your MOC then it has got to be amazing. Really well done.
