That's so cute and wonderful! You've posted this on my birthday, so I haven't noticed this great MOC earlier! This would has been like an unexpected present, I believe... I had a personal relationship with a '69 beetle convertible during my study- time, so I know these old Volkswagen very well... Greets! :))

Quoting Sam the First This is so cool! Great work mate! May I ask what you've used for the ladder? Is that Lego?
Thanks mate! I'm really glad you like it :) Yes, it is made 100% out of LEGO pieces (except the stickers of course). Ladders consists out of two pieces: http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=11299&idColor=1#T=C&C=1 and http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=4207&idColor=1#T=C&C=1

Thank you all for your kind words! :) @gene 3S: I was also surprised to see it drift a little bit :) The motor turn out to be more powerful than I expected. :) @Nerds forprez: It would be so cool if LEGO would make new version of that motor - maybe than there would be more smaller rc vehicles. @Stephan Niehoff and Nils O.: I'm so glad you like that engine sticker. I wasn't sure how people would react about it :)

Wow, that's awesome! You managed to keep the look of the 10220 Camper van on a 10-wide model. The flatbed with the ladder looks really cool, too. My favourite detail is the engine sticker, it looks so cool! Great job! :-))

Thank you :) Apparently it was available only in two sets back in the year 2009. But it is great for small scale vehicles.

Thanks! Yes, it is only possible because of that "older" PF receiver unit. I got it recently and could not wait to do something with it :)
