Now it's the end of November and a major snowstorm hit the city of LegoNYC ;) The first pics are edited with apps for snowfall and lighting effects (car headlights, taillights, traffic lights and street lights). The snow itself is made of model railroad snowpowder, the same as used as last year. The buildings got their christmas decorations, a new christmas tree made of dark green leaves is lit up in the park. Interior lighting and the christmas tree lights are made with battery powered lighting strings. I removed the city hall modular and will replace it with the new bank building modular in January. So i left an empty place like a construction zone. I hope you like this new update. :) Thank you for stopping by and leaving a nice comment + rating. Greets, Sven

Oh Paulo my friend, I'm so sorry about that I missed your really nice comment such a loooong time. 2016 is nearly over, LOL. But it's never too late for saying thank you very much. Yes, youre right. Not much snow or winter during Christmas... Don't know where the 2015/16 winter had been. Here we had only 3! snow days... Not very much. Greets, Sven
Caleb, thank you very much for your nice and funny comment. But take a look: http://abc7ny.com/
Btw, i don't know who Dallas Raines is but google told me that he is the chief-meterologist at KABC-TV LA ;)
Thank you very very much Peter. ;) The snowpowder is working pretty good and harms nothing because it's water resistant. The City and all details are built for easy removing. i remove all small parts like lamp posts, trafficlights, trees, signs etc and after that i remove the snow with a vacuum cleaner. I have some years experience with that and so i need only two hours for complete cleanup ;) You might see it next year ;)
Hi Sven! It's a complete little world! What a fantastic detail everywhere. I've never seen before snow powder so i can not imagine how it works. Now I have searched on the Youtube just WOW. But i have a questions! How can You clean after all the whole LEGO City?
Hey Joe, hope the best for you in MN. Here in Germany we had two snow days since October. But now its warm with highs around 59 degrees F. Thank you very much for your nice comment. Happy that you like it. ;)
Gabor my friend, thank you so much for leaving such a nice comment and compliment :) Was such a great day together with you and the others at the exhibition. Thank you very much for letting me drive your bus and train, two very well built models i really like. Have a great pre-Christmas season my friend and stay safe :) Greetings from me and Julia.
Hey Eric, that's pretty easy. Use a leaf blower to blow all the snow away XD No, was just kidding. Most of the snow will be recycled and the rest will removed with a vacuum cleaner. It's working pretty good. Thanks a lot for your nice comment.
Hi Timo ;) Mach doch einfach.
Hab vielen vielen Dank mein Freund! Freue mich wie immer riesig drüber. Muss ich wohl nächstes Jahr wieder machen was? Bist ja anscheinend nicht der einzige der drauf gewartet hat. ;) Viele Liebe Grüße an dich und deine Family, Sven
LOL, the story about your wife is really cool. Say hello from me to her and a big thank you because that's really a big compliment for my work. Thank you so much for leaving such a nice comment my friend ;)
Thank you very much for doing this my good friend, it's really kind from you ;) I hope Timo will take notice of it. Thanks, was really a great day with great people. Next year we will participate the whole weekend with many of my own stuff. Stay safe too my good friend. Greets and hugs from me and Julia back to you and Jill. I'm so happy about that you like the snow so much. Stay safe at work too and have a successful week.
Some amazing snowstorm Pictures! The breaking news screens almost looks like real. My wife saw the Pictures and she siad: Is it snowing in NY city right now? Excellent job on redecorating your city layout for Christmas.
Thanks for the link to another great builder I added Timo as a fav. I am glad you and Julia had such a great time at the Lego display. Stay safe my friend, greets and hugs from me and Jill to you and Julia. Be safe at work this week. PS this is one of your very best winters in Lego NYC ever. 100/100.
Oh man, that's bad. I love snow and was happy that we got the first one in October this year. Was really a surprise. Can't wait for the next round ;) Hope you get your's very soon. Thanks so much for your really nice comment my friend!
Sorry, i missed this one. ;) Thank you so much but wasn't a Lego store. It was a exhibition and Julia and i had much fun. Was really a fantastic day together with many great, friendly and talented Lego builders.
Dennis my friend, thank you so much for your great comment! :) Yes indeed, fit's pretty good because we had snow today at my location. And during driving to the exhibition in Borken we had more snow. Viele Liebe Grüße und ein fettes Dankeschööööön! :) Sven
LOL, we have only 35 degree here in Germany. And after i woke up today i was looking out of my window and saw: snooooow! ;) Thank you very much for leaving such a nice and funny comment. Greets to you in NYC
Mark, i'm really excited about your very nice comment and big compliment. Thank you so much man! I really appreciate it. :D Btw, love the scenery too. Hope you have a great pre-Christmas season. Greets, Sven
Thanks a lot my friend. The news bar: I copied a real one from the www and edited it with paint. Removed the original words and typed in my own stuff in the same design. After that i copied every edited news bar and placed it on the pictures. That's it ;)
Clayton my friend, thank you so much! That was my ambition. The magic of winter and christmas together in my city ;) Little kitty found a warm place at the firehouse of Truck 5. She loves the new home ;)
Oh yes my very very good friend i saw your really lovely comment and compliment right after i woke up but was too busy to write a reply. But now i'm back at home from the exhibition, really tired but able to reply. Thank you so much for every single word you left for me. You made me smile all over my face. Thank you Oran! Greets from me and Julia to you and Diane. Hope you have a great day.
Wow, i see a lot ratings and comments! That's awesome :D I was all the day at the Lego exhibition in Borken(Hesse) and met some great builders there. It was a really cool day and Julia & I had a lot of fun there. Three of my models were displayed in the big city layout they had there. Met Gábor Horvath http://www.mocpages.com/home.php/73171 in person and i could drive his fantastic Siemens Taurus and his RC Mercedes Citaro articulated bus. Such fantastic models from a very nice and talented builder. Because of that i wasn't able to reply your nice comments my friends. But here we go! ;)
Hi Sven, the snow looks again amazing on your city! The different effects work very well with the buildings and traffic. My favourite picture is that with the lit up tree. Fits very well with our weather here in Germany!
Great shots! You've done a terrific job of creating this other "little world" that pulls the viewer in and holds them there. It's one of the really cool things about Lego and a lot of MOCs do it, but rarely to the degree that you've achieved. Love it!
"Breaking News" Lego Master Builder Sven has posted on MOCpages his most beautiful and brilliant and artistic reproduction of LEGONYC during the recent heavy winter storm that struck the city the other day. In the words, well really letters, from the Lettersmith Jimmie - BOAJEWD! Sven my very good friend, I know right now you are sleeping but when you wake up tomorrow you will see this - BRAVO! 100/100
Thaaaaank you so much for your great comment and kind words. You made me smile all over my face my good friend :D Needed several days for getting all right... But it was worth every minute. Greets back to you and Jill from us and happy holiday for you! We don't have holidays here in Germany. :( But it's weekend and we will visit a Lego exhibition tomorrow. Take care my good friend.
Let me be the first to say WOW. A seasonal MOC withal the technical skill a of a master builder coupled with the artistic beauty of a Thomas Kincade or Norman Rockwell painting. This shows your absolute mastery of ALL the skills needed to create LEGO art. BOAJEWD 100/100. Greets from Jill and me to you and Julia my friend. Happy Holidays.
