It's Christmas time again, and that means holiday cheer for me and coal for you!
About this creation
Santa gave me a gentle reminder that I've been neglecting an important part of my hobby by climbing down the ol' smokestack with an astounding model of the biggest buffoon ever to go adventuring: Gil of Glomshire!
That's right, it's Gil, a ranger of the realm, defender of the weak, lover of bacon! The one man Lord Jerek will turn to when he wants something done (not necessarily done right, just done).
Santa is so good, Gil arrived in five pieces -- that's right, five separately packaged pieces that require literally five steps to assemble. I put him together in less than a minute. Not only is this model a thing of beauty, but Santa put on a clinic for anyone who ever tried mailing a Lego model.
Now to the game: Every year, the good folks of VirtuaLUG keep the postal services busy with our Secret Santa exchange. The fun for us is the cool gifts we give (and receive, but giving is more fun).
The fun for you, dear MOCpage member, is trying to guess who built it.
Here's the list, in case you wanna play:
Roy T. Cook
For Glomshire and for glory!
There may be one or two others I've not listed, but I can tell you one thing for sure: My Secret Santa is on the list. Now git ta guessin' ya varmits!
I give it 5 smileys...because its my build!
Fooled you all did I.
As good as Simon am I?
Dennis and I had a great discussion at Ft. Wayne in 2014 which is why I was super excited to build this for him. May it bring eternal inspiration to his brick-based endeavors.
Bloody brilliant! Even got his patented goofy grin. I am going to have to NOT go with the build style but rather the packaging technique. Leave it to an engineer to package something proper. Gotta be Conner! Definitely a mech masters hand at work here. Or Bryan.
