Inspired by a couple of sets I had when I was a child. Breezeway Cafe - 6376 and Sand Dollar Cafe - 6411. I always loved the use of transparent clear curved window pieces and the colours of Paradisa especially, it was such a change from the emergency services sets I had. This idea led to the purchase of a fair few of these window pieces a while back and making an appropriate beach-side building to implement them. There is a bar on the ground floor with seating upstairs and a bicycle and surf board rental shop. Customary palm-tree and use of pink included!
What more could you ask for whilst at the beach? other than ice-cream of course!
You really captured the feel of the original Paradisa sets; so much so that I half expect Crocket and Tubbs to pull up in a Testarossa and have a shoot out. Great design, it has that strange architecture Miami is known for; kind of a mix of practical and impractical that only a perpetually sunny climate can foster. Brilliant!
