About this creation

I started with a red column which I wrapped my stairs around. After that it became a game of whatever I could get away with. Remember, I just got my first two Lego sets about 10 days ago including a bunch I won on eBay (some of those looked like animals had chewed on them). I don't have a lot of pieces to choose from. I'm more of a monochromatic individual. Striping yellow and brown and tan and red starts looking rather juvenile. That's why I named it Busy House. It's a little more playful looking than most houses I've done. The back is finished off like a dollhouse. That's what I usually do to save pieces. Why build four walls when two or three are more than enough? Anyway, it is what it is.

Architechturaly fascinating! I like the simplicity of the house seemingly based around a big red column, and the rest of the colours blend yet contrast very nicely. A touch of Escher, perhaps?
