Vortex RX-5 RC1 Rev 1.2
It's amazing what happens when I'm able to come home ain't it?
About this creation
Alright, first I'm explain the naming process. The RX are just letter I use to denote prototypes. RC is for race car, some cars have had both RC1 and RC2, this is basically saying there was a big change from the older to newer model. Last is Rev, meaning revision, this is small changes in design instead of big ones. It's a mess, but at least I understand it.

Yes you read that right 1.2. Let's see where to start; well the car has a new inner construction so it won't fall apart in two seconds. The fuel inlet has been restored although on the right side of the car. The engine cover has lost some of its length. There's a new seat design. Overall the car has gone through changes to denote a new revision. There's always something.

Let's start with a spin of the car first:

Front

Side

Side viewed from a higher angle

Rear, this received the majority of the changes with a lowered cover and vent covering. The rear section itself remained the same from the original.

Top, it's even more smoother, with flatter lines

Interior

Front nose

Nose and the rest of the car, this area was resigned

Engine cover, so many changes, smaller overall and better constructed. None of that swooping mess from the last one.

Engine, redesigned turbo diesel V8 Hybrid

Rear section

all the removable bodywork

All the bodywork removed: this doesn't look right

this still doesn't look right

Monocoque Cell around the driver, this is extremely strong and independent of the rest of the car

New seat design

Inside electrical equipment

Hope you enjoyed it, please comment

The car will be a same-scale and same-class racer, but the looks are different indeed... http://www.moc-pages.com/moc.php/426290

Quoting Johan van der Pluijm Almost done with it, so its not impossible. The differential is causing some trouble, so I'll try to drive without it:)
Ok if its not impossible, then explain to me where all that would fit with no, I repeat no changes to the exterior. The car cannot get larger. The battery box alone takes up the area of the cockpit.

Quoting Johan van der Pluijm Nice car, but I hoped it would be a Remote Controlled one :/ Very great design. Im going to try to build a RC car on this scale. THX for inspiring me
That would be nearly impossible, I'd have to remove the engine, interior, and removable body parts. Also there is no room for a motor, IR receiver and battery box. The car is just too small.

Quoting Joost Cumps I m not keen on that roof, but that car still, and very easily, deserves those 5 smileys
I actually feel the same way, but I didn't want to use the same old design like my previous prototypes. Also I lack newer parts; all of mine are 7+ years old.
