Chapter One
This is Chapter One of the Elderim historical data base. In this folder the stort line is written about how the Elderim Empire grew to his huge size.
About this creation
The year is 2602. Earth is spreading colonies al over the galaxy. Many planet’s are under the control of the Earth United Space Allaince (EUSA). A new mission is being prepared by men, to send ships to the far solar system of Elderim. Little is known jet about this system, but data shows that there are planet’s equal to Earth environments. The mission would be dangerous and only four ship would be send to the system at the time. The leading colony ship, code name Albatros, left earth with 432 humans on board, on the fifth of may 2602 with one captian, 18 soldiers, 23 scientists and the rest of the settlers. After the first ship would have searched for a suitable planet for setting up a colonie the other three ships would come to assist the first ship. Together the four ships would found a new colonie and start to research the surface and the enviroment and if there is other life on the planet. After the landing, Earth would send more ships with more settlers and reserves to the system, as yet there was no information if there would be enough food and water on the planet’s.

Each ship would carry four containers with supplies. Everything the settlers needed was put inside these containers. As long as they wouldn’t lose these supplies they wouldn’t even need the ship if necessary, of course not in space because there were no engines on the containers, but on a planet’s surface these containers would make them survive.

The colony ships were storraged in a hidden bay somewhere on earth, because of the extraordinary ships. Probably not the fast ever build but definitly the best in all other aspects. Nothing went wrong so far and it seemed there wouldn’t be any major problems ahead in the next two years of the journey.

But things went different. The first months the ship started to gather more information about a planet called Rhonox, the planet that was most equal to earth. It was a long journey because the system was thousands of lightyears away.

After 2 years of travelling through space the Albatros finally reached the Elderim System. The ship found Rhonox and landed on the surface. During their journey the ship sended more data about the planet’s and after the landing they sended the message for the other three space ships wich should be already on route with more suplies and settlers. Their arrival was planned two weeks after the Albatros landed and the first radio contact from earth was to be made after four months, because of the large distance. But after five months there were still no words about earth. The settlers became desperate. Food was hard to find on Rhonox and the reserves were decreasing. More food was needed if the settlers wished to survive. At these moments Captain Richard Williams, leader of the operation, thought it was time to take measure’s.
