Fire Engine - Speed Champions
About this creation
Well it took me a while to try one of these but here it is only a year after the Speed Champions kits were introduced. This uses the Speed Champions mudguards, wheels, and tires. This is a modified version of the Chicago Fire 51 engine LDD that D. Stender posted on Emergency Bricks. Because of the mudguards, the cab sits one plate higher. I just modified it according to the parts and colors that I have in stock so it is not really to be like anything in particular.

Quoting Jimmie Martinez If you are using LBG to simulate Chrome fenderguards I would do it front and back on a custom chassis apparatus. You mostly see mixed colors of fenderguards on apparatus mounted on commercial chassis. Can you get Chrome SC mudguards yet? Great idea I think it would look good on a red rig.
Hey Jimmie my good friend, thanks for your quick answer. I decided to make a test: http://www.moc-pages.com/moc.php/426274

Quoting Jimmie Martinez More brilliant work from Cruzen Fire Apparatus. Well engineered and flawlessly executed, every model a true fireground workhorse from Sensei Oran. I gotta quit coming back and looking at this or you will lose this one too. LOL BOAJEWD.
Hey Jimmie my friend, thank you so very much! Haha, you know I do not twist your arm, well, not very much anyway! LOL I am thinking of checking my chromed parts inventory to see what I can do next. What do you think of using the light bluish gray SC mudguards for the rear wheels?

Quoting A Taylor Looks good. The new arches do wonders. Now if they made the arch a different color than the support...
Hey A. Taylor, thank you very much! I agree but they would have to make at least two different, one with a chromed or at least a metallic silver, and one with black. What do you think?
