About this creation
Hello everyone! This is my entry to round 3 of the MELO. My category was the Forbidden Pool, and I've actually built the Forbidden Pool 3 times in my LEGO history, so I tried to take a different approach this time.

My opponent this round is Soccer Socks and you can view her creation here.

I hope you like it!

I'll be honest, neither entry really impressed me this time. They both were very similar, and I just wasn't blown away by either of you. That said, I preferred the way you did your water, so you have my vote.

Oh man... You guys are making this extremely hard for us ;) Both of you really just went right at the category, J-rod, I like your water and I understand how hard water can be so I appreciate that, (though that goes to Soccer too) I think if you had built rocks on either side of the water you might have clinched it but as it is, this is going to be very close. Soccer, you may not have gone quite as dark or even where people would have expected someone to go while building the forbidden pool but it turned out great none the less... In the end... Soccer gets my vote, this might be because I don't want to have to be the one to make the final call on this one... because if I could I would give this a tie. Great job both of you!

You two absolutely killed this category. I really like how you did the border in this build; the way it looks like the water just stops is really cool. Also, your opponent went with a more advanced SNOT approach than you did, but I think your rocks are more cohesive and convincing overall. Due to the more clean, polished landscaping in your build, you have my vote. But it was really close.

Beautiful rock and water work! I especially like the touch of SNOT water tiles around the base.

Great job on this! It's quite aesthetically pleasing and I really like how the border just kinda falls off. Overall clean build! GL

A great approach, I understand that doing it AGAIN in the same way would be slightly boring for you. This build is mostly water, but's it's still built well and is eye catching. Good luck!
