MMO Round 1: A Hobbit Hole
A nice model I built for MMO (Bracket B; Category: Wanted for Illegal MOCing)
About this creation

General Information:

Built For: 2016 Mini MocOlympic.
Bracket: B.
Category: Wanted for Illegal MOCing
Illegal Technique: See bellow.

Illegal Technique:

I may have more than one illegal connections but I don't know exactly what counts as illegal and what doesn't. However, I'm pretty sure the SNOT technique I used on the hobbit door does not count. It consists of sticking a half pin into the bottom of a brick in order to connect another brick to the first one. See bellow:

More Pictures:

Here are a few more pics. Enjoy!

Possibly my favorite part to build and definitely the hardest to work around in photo editing (making the background white), the small tree above the hobbit hole is an interesting build. Other parts that were fun include the white bench, the wagon, putting all the little green slopes on the roof and even decorating the yard with many flowers.

One last statement I must make: A special thanks to my sister, Jolene, for loaning me a bunch of greenery and many flowers (not to mention most of the fence). Thanks sis.

Quoting MCLegoboy ! I'll be honest, I hate this category, I'm not a fan of illegal techniques, so I'm just going to judge off of the final product in general. I feel that you got a bunch of details, and it looks like a hobbit hole. Nice build. 8/10. Thanks for committing and posting an entry!
Thanks for the rating and the comment. I really enjoyed building this. I'm sorry I won't be able to build something this big for Round 2 (if I make it) because I'll be on family vacation so I'll have to build something small (but hopefully nice-looking).

Thanks! I had that idea when I saw the green 1 x 4 smooth slopes on the PaB wall.

Quoting Reese Hawthorne Nice work Stucky! I like how many flowers there are, it really reminds me of how Hobbits love gardening. Keep it up!
Thanks. I sometimes feel like people don't take the time to add some "natural" beauty to their models. I really thought the flowers came out nice.
