Crossbone Gundam Deathscythe
I've been wanting to build some "real" Gundams/Mobile Suits around 1/144 scale in Lego for a while. I thought combining 2 of my favorites (Crossbone Gundam Maoh and Gundam Deathscythe) would look cool. I think he turned out pretty badass. My only problem is that I couldn't make his chin piece. As always, please RATE and COMMENT!:)

Quoting Kai Mcdonald I really love this gundam but I'm trying to see how to build the frame but all the pieces get in the way do you have any tips or something to help me to build the frame please? It will very appreciated! :) I'm glad you like this! Since I didn't take pics of the fig stripped down (yet), I can give you a link to my Moodland Scale fig tutorial, since this is a modified version of that: http://www.moc-pages.com/moc.php/289473

Quoting matt one I think that a chin fin is hard to get at this scale... Good job anyway!
I've got a few techniques I'll try next time. Thanks!

Quoting Magma ! The shaping on and around the feet is superb. I don't know if I mentioned it yet, but I respect your consistent activity on the pages. You are one of the few builders from the "golden era of MOCpages" who are still active. Around the time I joined MP, activity on the site was very high and you were one of the most recognizable builders with your original Star wars-themed walkers and mechas and whatnot. And here you are. Still whipping out amazing MOCs.
Hey, Magma! Nice to hear from you and thank you for the kind words. I agree that the 'pages isn't as active as it used to be, but, I hope that builders like you and I can keep it alive till the next "golden age".

Quoting Daniel Ringuette Looks great! Love the wings and feet! Fantastic design!
I wasn't sure if I was going to make the wings just like the original Deathscythe or not, but I decided to take some "artistic liberties" with it. Thanks!

Quoting Firas Abu-Jaber Very creative model! I see some amazing piece usage all around, well done. A+
I love the fact that Lego releases several new smaller pieces regularly that help me make certain models look more accurate to the "real" thing. Thanks!

Quoting Tim C Yep. Pretty recognizable. Deathscythe is one of my favorite designs. Just bummed that I don't have one of the models...yet. It's a bummer you couldn't get a chin piece in there, but it doesn't diminish the work at all. Nice work on the feet. Also the scythe is perfect. Overall the forming is spot on. Really nice work.
Deathscythe is definitely in my top 5 favorite Gundam designs. I think that, by the time I build another Gundam at this scale, I will have figured out how to make that chin fin. Thanks for the kind words!
