Bio: Many thousand of years ago, much of Asura Manga was ruled by the Pyric Empire, led by the Goddess of Fire, Esh. For millenia, the Pyric Empire terrorized and exploited the population with forced labor and mass executions of dissenters. Even the other gods hid themselves, afraid of Esh. No one could oppose her dominion.
Deep in the heart of the state of Sumer, a wandering swordsman named Gilgamesh witnessed the destruction of an entire nation at the hands of the Pyric Empire. While formerly neutral in the Empire's matters, the act of cruelty hardened Gilgamesh's heart. Embarking on an epic quest against the Pyric Empire, Gilgamesh circumnavigated Asura Manga, defeating monstrous beasts while seeking an almighty weapon capable of destroying even the gods. The result of his quest is unknown, but ancient texts say that the Pyric Empire soon collapsed, presumably at the hands of Gilgamesh.
Little is known about what actually happened during the final fight between Esh and Gilgamesh. Some believe that Gilgamesh singlehandedly succeeded in his quest, while others argue that he convinced the other gods to aid him. Some even think that Gilgamesh lost and was killed or sealed away, but had injured Esh enough that she was unable to restore her empire. What is known is that the Pyric Empire collapsed, the gods disappeared from Asura Manga, and Gilgamesh was never seen again.
It is whispered that Gilgamesh is still alive, roaming the deserts for when his might will be needed again.
So, I'm back, I think. Hopefully I won't die once again next week. Anyways, I got a Flickr, which makes uploading easier, so go check that out. I'll be putting MOCs, WIPs, and the occasional character drawing up there.
Next storyline MOC is going up next week. See you all then.
Brilliant work, Aeon! The moc's texture and look really suit the theme of an ancient warrior, and I love the small blades of purple on the head. It looks as though a lot of the colors on his armor have long since been torn away. And the Biography was written in such a way that it just feels as though I'm reading an old fable. Great work, Aeon, and I can't wait to see your new storyline and your new characters.

I met a necromancer :P It's good to be back. Thank you for your kind words. I've been practicing during my inactivity; my new Mocs are (hopefully) going to be on a whole new level compared to my older ones.
