A LOM September MBC, (A tower under construction.) Also a crossover with the incredibly talented builder City Creator! By Roanoke Handybuck!
About this creation
Hello! Today I have made tower on a cliffside, and it is supposed to be under construction, and in the pictures, imagine those are not my actual characters in the pictures. It is roughly 1200 pieces, and has a new type of rockwork (for me), it is on a hidden technic rockwork “hinge” and it is inverted, in other words almost all of those slopes are regular slopes, and they are just put upside down… It was inspired by this tutorial. Along with SNOT walls, with 2 x 2 grey tiles. Anyways, I hope you enjoy the build and story!

Anyways, continuing the story:

Here is City Creator’s very talented build: !

“So Luke, I took you out here, because I didn’t trust everybody in the marketplace, since we have had previous issues with that… I took you out here so I could speak to you about that topic.” said Roanoke. “Understood, so what is your troops view of the situation?” Replied Luke. “We don’t think that two nations should team up and attack with super weapons, I see our troop as a peaceful rebellious group against all the chaos that the leaders are creating.” said Roanoke. “Our group is the same, but we feel like Mythron is getting cheated, and they are practically the innocent blind puppet for Enalica. If you viewed it from looking at it where you are not stuck in the mess, anybody could see it better.” replied Luke with a considerate smile, everyone slowly nodded, then Roanoke slowly replied “And that Roanoke is why we have the storehouse we visited in the woods. We aren’t sure what will happen, and we loyal troops to the original Mythron law.” Roanoke blinked, then said “So, you took me to the city of Falmor, and you guys didn’t get orders from the king, but actually escaped?” Dothan nodded and replied “That is correct.” Roanoke nodded thoughtfully, while Kantirock turned to Luke and asked “So, there has been rumors of the leaders of the 5 nations sending out explorers to explore the land beyond these islands. We will be traveling, will you?” Luke replied “Yes, I will be traveling.” The group nodded, while they all said in their own way “If you ever need anything, then get in contact with us, and we will come to your aid.” And with a smile they said their goodbyes, smiled, waved and left.

Here are some pics of the build:

Well, it looks like Bilbo is in the wrong world. :)

Sorry for the bad quality pictures!

I hope you enjoyed!

Quoting C Stucky I think you deserve the three you got for this. This is a good build with a great idea behind it! However, I don't really understand the story or it's relation to the build.
Thanks Stucky!

Quoting Armon Russ Very nice. There's a lot to look at, and you've clearly put in a lot of effort. What I think you need to work on, however, is to blend everything together more. The path cuts a little too cleanly through the landscape, and the different colors of the grass should be mixed more realistically. But you're definitely improving in that aspect from what I can see of your past builds. Keep it up!
Well, this actually was't that much effort, but I didn't know where I put my big grass-scaping plates, so I had to use grey and cover it all, and I realize it looks a little too clean, and the rest of the terrain a little too messy, I haven't found a good solution yet for slow rolling hills with not using too many plates.

Thanks Rhino! Yeah, the rock technique is awesome, it is really fun, cause you can find may different angles, I also think it looks pretty cool, and a lot better in real life...

Quoting City Creator "Yet another"!? That makes it sound like you have too many brothers! Nevertheless, I really enjoy this build.
Thanks City! I will change that! :)

Quoting Mr. Cab This looks quite nice! For the MBC score, this gets a solid three. I like the winch/pulley to pull materials up the tower and the easter egg; those are some very nice touches. A couple of nitpicks would be that the road seems a little too smooth, and that olive, normal and dark green don't go that well together in the landscaping.
Thanks Mr. Cab! Yeah, my landscaping is really sloppy. I had problems with it all along, from not having enough plates to having problems with colors.
