Haul loads of minerals in this dump truck gone airborne...
About this creation
The Ludgonian Industrial Union knows what you need. Yes, its true. We have been monitoring your brain waves. Anyway, we know that you need a solid, dependable transport for your mines. Therefore, we present to you, the LIU Tremor.
Let's face it, mining minerals with today's technology is pretty easy. The hard part is getting it to the processing plants. Usually this difficult task is given to heavy ground transports, but they are too slow and require wide roads. Not anymore.
The LIU has taken mineral transportation to the air. Load up your take in the Tremor's massive cargo hold. (OK, massive is a bit of an white lie).
The hold makes up about 50% of the ship. The cabin takes up 25% and the engines take up the other 25%. Whew, that was some tough math.
The simple engines of the Tremor. If you haven't figured it out, the LIU suffers from engine-itis. That means we seriously lack the ability to make complex looking engines. Oh well, its one of our many faults.
Another shot of the rear.
The bottom of the hold opens and closes for loading and unloading.*
The cabin is spacious and computer laden. Unfortunately, you only get to see it from the outside. We're too lazy to peel the roof off this one. Note the mandatory warning lights and stripes.
The LIU is a proud user of the Tremor. Here, on the LIU Mining World of Portus, a Tremor gets loaded full of ruby ore. The conveyer belt overhead drops a few more pieces to top it off.
A hold full of ruby ore.
When the Tremor departs with its load, the quickly constructed platform is revealed. This loading platform is number III. Its one of 2,000 located on Portus.
*Note: As sturdy as the Tremor is, its one weak point is its cargo door (bottom). Studies have shown that the hinges tend to give out on random occasions due to stress. It shouldn't be too much of a problem, unless of course your flying over a city. Then it might be a problem.
Did you hear? Kavon Z. and Alexander Pierson have declared war on the LIU! No need for worry, however . . . as long as we round up our alliances, they'll soon perish and forever be forgotten on MOCpages. Report! Report!
A dump truck, cool! This will be helpful if we needed to clear battlefields. The color scheme looks nice and the overall shape is great. I like the cockpit design. Nice work. P.S. I'm pretty much finished with my base, just a room or two to make and a add little more details. Do you have any suggestions? I would have posted it by now but I'm at a standstill as to what I should add. Thanks and Nice work on the tremor!
Well done! You've got a real gift for putting a lot of detail in a small MOC. Ya know, my kids could use one of these for their haul next week at Christmas. Although come to think of it...I'm not sure those engines could take the stress. Lot's of packages!
I like it

wow! great details, i like very much the cockpit. When he`s fully charged with minerals have an huge look. don`t worry about your engines, they`re are simple, but are fine! Bruno
I really like this one and the fact that you made a loading platform just adds to the nicety of this MOC. It's easy to imagine hundreds of these zooming around a mining site. The opening hold bottom is brilliant: it makes this seem like something that would work extremely well in the real world. You're a pro at pulling off a clean, heavy duty look on your MOCs!
