Thank you for sharing; I actually remember the first generation of "Zoids" back in about 1981 or 1982 being sold in a SEARS store in the U.S.A. Then they were cast in Black, White & Grey only, but still had the classic 'amber-colored' pilot-canopy with a tiny little metal-like finish on the plastic 'pilot' figure. I asked for one for Christmas that year, but even then they were expensive for the day. Now I feel so old.
Quite an inspiring piece of work. I guessing by the size that this one doesn't hold a minifig. If it does, even better. Speaking of which I'm considering a fig-sized Command Wolf (highly modified of course) so any advice would be welcome.
DUDE! Liger Zero looks awsome, and the fact he has removable armor earns you bonus points! Thou to find that you had to resort to transfromer parts to get the look right, just a bit dissapointing, the fact that you use megablock is no big deal since technically they are still lego parts. Now then, can you make it's various 3 armors? Particularilly Schneider and Panzer armor? Those were my favorite out of all the armors ^_^
I miss all the late Zoids, like this one, so it's a pleasure to look at it, especially when it's an incredible masterpiece of Lego ! The stickers really add something, too. I wanted to thanks you for all your nice comments, it's very kind ! But I think you're a better builder than me, really. Keep on the awesome work !!!
At first I was gonna say: you forgot the EARS idiot!, but the real one doesn't have ears either - which is silly. Ah well. I love how realistic this MOC is anyway. I've never been a fan of Zoids, or any anime for that matter, but this... this strikes a note. A nice one.
5 smileys, just because I can't find any more!
No offenses were taken. The (real) Liger Zero's hind legs are slanted, but only slightly in comparison to the Shield Liger or Command Wolf. I actually own a few of Liger Zero Zoid models and thought about the hind legs, but couldn't find the right combination of pieces to give it the slight hind leg slant it needed without making it look like the hind legs of my Shadow Blox. Those black bionicle masks were actually put there to help create the illusion of a slant. Thanks for the comments, it always helps.
Thnx for the comment and yes, I was somewhat inspired by you creations in making my own Lego Zoids, the first one I made paled in comparison with yours, lol.
I have a few plans once the Exo-Force stuff goes half price in my local toy store...
BTW Although I prefer the Blade Liger, that is one awesome Liger Zero.
i havent been on xbl lately either because i just moved and i can only access xbl at my grandparent's house but as soon as my cousins come, ill be back on. see you soon and tell me when you do get xbl back so i can add you. btw, i found my zero jager! too bad i lost most of its armor. im gonna try to order Schneider off of ebay or something.
this is puwit neangongoy butt monkey with a new name. i wanted to ask why i'm not on your friend's list on x-box live anymore and why you haven't been on mocpages at all lately. plz reply because i remember that you were begging me to add you. plz explain.
Awesome! I was lucky enough to have gotten one of the actual models (which has unfortunately been trashed by my cousin, who is 4). I don't really care that you paint your bricks, as it wouldn't look as accurate without it!
I'm speechless again. Probably your best. I have a problem though. On the front legs, the white part in the front doesn't look like a lego. If it actually is a lego peice, then could you tell me what it is?
