The Panzer III series were the first medium tanks Germany produced during World War II. It was designed by Heinz Guderian who wanted a tank that could deal with other armored threats, and provide infantry support. The Panzer III Ausf.J variant began production in 1941, and was produced until 1942. The upgraded J variant had, at most, 50 mm of armor; KwK 38 L42 50 mm gun; and two MG 34's.
As for the Lego version, the Panzer III has a form of suspension and a turret that is able to rotate 360 degrees. The cannon is also able to elevate slightly.
