About this creation
Hello guys,
this is my entry into The Tourney 2017.
My guild: Monkey Rangers of the equator
My category: Obstacle Course
Obstacle courses have been a staple of Tourneys past, and this one is no exception. As this Tourney is being held on a tropical island, have your character attempting an obstacle course that either passes through the jungle or over the water. Functions are encouraged but not required for this category.

I´ve choosen the category Obstacle course because I think that I´m good in tropical landscaping and I have a lot of leafes and plants for build like this. The most chalanging for me was make wobbly look of the bridge and building rocks (I used almost all my DBG slopes).

Quoting Promar Quadratus Excellent work here Predator! You've achieved a very tropical feeling build with a lot of great detail for its size. Nice variation in tree type and size (lovin' the palm trees!) and usage of them coolio transy blue 1x1s. Buying a couple hundred of those was one of the best Lego decisions that I ever made ;) Great job with the rockwork as well, the jagged appearance adds an aspect of intensity and heightened adventure. As for photo quality, I suggest finding a spot with as much natural lighting as possible, preferably from two or more sources to reduce distracting shadows from showing up. I take my pictures in one of our gabled dormers about 4 feet under a skylight and 15 feet away from another small window. It works great as long as there isn't much cloud cover... Anyway, well done and God bless! ~Promar~
I´m glad you like this moc Promar. Thank you for your advice about taking pictures. I really apreciate it. Unfortunatelly I have only 1 room with 1 window where I live now. But I´ll give my moc between the window and lamp and I´ll try to make better pictures, hope it will work.

Oh yeah, I also do a bit of photo editing (courtesy of the Windows 10 Photo Editor) to enhance contrast, do basic color corrections, and generally tweak the image as needed. However, having a good light source is a must (photo editing can only enhance what's there, not do magic (at least at my level of experience)). If you find a good location to get that, you've done the hard work and can then look at editing software (like PhotoShop, Gimp, etc.) for an added professional touch. Hope that helps! ~Promar~

Quoting Marley Mac Awesome! I really like the look of the rocks and the trees, and I think you did a good job on making the bridge look wobbly, I know I wouldn't want to cross it. One thing though, I find the olive-green and dark-red trees look a little out of place, seeing as all other greenery is normal green, just IMO. :P Anyway, good luck! :D
I wanted to add some other colors to the moc, I think that there can be diferent colored trees in jungle. I´m glad you like the rest of this moc :)

Quoting Deus "Big D." Otiosus The colour contrast makes this pleasant to look at, but with the photo quality, that is really it. If you had some better photos to back it up, this would be a great MOC.
Unfortunatelly I don´t have better photos, I know that photo quality is my weakness.

Love it.. Great vignette, nice balance with greenery and good transition from understory to rock.

The bridge came out great! I like how you used Technic pieces for the trees!
