A Star Wars Hammerhead Corvette from Rogue One, designed by me. A bigger and more complete version made by Brickster0404 needs your support on Lego Ideas.

Now, on to what I made:

I made this model a few days ago, when I was finally able to act on the idea that popped into my head. It turned out very well, if I can say so myself.
This picture is the rendered image on a different background. The engine exhaust was hard and not extremely accurate, but whatever...

Here is the rendered image.

Let's see where we can put this ship...

Ah, Tatooine space

Oh, how nice of them to put my ships in star wars rebels... They could have done better, though. :D

This is the reference picture I used.

I figured out a lot about Rendering during this build. I spent about 3 hours trying to find the right rendering software that would even work. Tat's why the photo quality is always different on each picture: Its me fumbling around with quality

Thanks for viewing! Please comment and rate the build. I don't want to know if the quality is bad on some of my photos... I already know that. Just tell me that they're good, and that you want to give me a hundred bucks... Just Kidding! :P

The Real big guy shown above on LegoŽ Ideas is viewable here

Thanks for viewing!

Quoting Michael Kringe This looks nice and really close to the non-Lego version! I should start building Star Wars MOCs again!
I'm so glad that it's recognizable! I tried so hard to achieve that. You Should Start Building Star Wars Mocs! I don't yet regret it...

Quoting Ben The Lego Builder Really nice work, your model is really easy to recognize.
I'm glad! That was the main goal of it, after all. It's nice to know that I did it right!

Quoting killswitch95 [SNRK] I don't mean to pry (Please don't take it as offense, I'm trying to be constructive), but judging by your reference pic one of the main things that is off and needs fixing is how the bottom engine, or whatever is it lines on with the bottom of the "Head" of the ship, potentially allowing it to land on a flat surface. your MOC however the head of your ship is a fair bit beyond to bottom engine... your head is a bigger scale than the rest of your ship, you have good overall design, but two different scales which make the ship appear "Off"... (Actually the head does extend a small bit under the bottom of the engine, but still far less than you have here) If you fix it I would support it because it is a different looking ship...
Yea, when I was building it, I kept on running into that problem... It was basically impossible to make the bottom of the ship be accurate without making the bottom look terrible for the scale size. It is definitely a problem, anyway. If you could find a solution to that, that would be much appreciated. Thanks for pointing that out, though!

Quoting Traykar the swift This is legit!
Thanks! I tried to make it as detailed as I could so that this would work in a miniature fleet... that's mainly why I made it.

Thank you! That one is my favorite, too! It was fun and challenging to make the jet trails.

Thank you for pointing that out. I tried, and tried, but it is about impossible to make the engine size right without compromising the ship's detail and scale. If you could make it work, I would really like to see it. It sure is a problem that a lot of people come across while making this ship...

I messed up the comment before with a picture link so here is the better picture I was trying to talk about using to judge scales: http://orig10.deviantart.net/4f32/f/2016/032/c/4/hammerhead_class_corvette_ortho__new__by_unusualsuspex-d9q3w86.jpg

Quoting Jonathan Demers Cool miniscale model! Looks like the ship from Rebels! Nice work!
Thank you! It's from Star Wars Rebels season 2, mostly. I had a lot of fun putting the ship over different backgrounds.
