About this creation
These three locos are my Wild Western-style engines. I already have the red passenger and green military locos built in real life (along with their respective trains), but the yellow engine and it's freight train are still to come.

The reason for revisiting these locos is two-fold:

1) They fit in nicely with my Eads bridge, as that structure was finished in 1874, conveniently right in the middle of the era when these steam trains would have been used.

2) They looked awesome at the train show I displayed them at last December, which inspired me to revisit this train / theme.

I have created more realistic version of set 10254 (Winter Village holiday train) for all the train fans who don't like the engine. I added working pistons, and a more cohesive color scheme plus two more sets of wheels on the engine. The model also uses two of theses printed number bricks ( www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=3010pb119... ) where the yellow 1 x 4 bricks are.

Since I turned the red 4-4-0 into a 4-6-0, the slot has been opened up for another "American"-type. Thus, I created Yellow 4-4-0 number 2, to go along with red 4-6-0 number 3 and green 4-2-4 number 1. This loco will be the freight hauler on my western line.

As the red one before it, this engine was originally modeled after set 7597 (Western Train Chase) with some design inspiration from TF Twitch's "Humble Sapphire" 4-4-0. The engine also features a boiler copied from set 79111 (Constitution Train Chase) to keep it inline with the rest of my steam locomotives.

The engine is supposed to feature four of this part on the tender and cab walls where the green bricks are located: www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=3009pb011...

This 4-6-0 "Ten Wheeler" type engine was originally modeled after set 7597 (Western Train Chase) with some design inspiration from TF Twitch's "Humble Sapphire" 4-4-0. The engine also features a boiler copied from set 79111 (Constitution Train Chase) to keep it inline with the rest of my steam locomotives.

This engine has been numbered "3", and uses four of this part where the black 1 x 6 brick are on the tender and cab: www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=3009pb016...

Any thoughts on these three locos?
