The Beastly Gostok
Apologies for not uploading a MOC the week before last, I kind of ran out of posts backed up (being away from home is fun!)- but here's one y'all should like- Astrok's been up to her dastardly experiments again, this one being more twisted and gruesome than the last! Meet- the Beastly Gostok!
About this creation
Backstory info for the Gostoks can be seen here.

“Several days ago, these were two children; now, they are merely another twisted lackey of Astrok.”
-Narrator, The Contenders #41

The Beastly Gostok:
The Beastly Gostok was the grotesque amalgamation of two Gostok children, one male and one female; the beast served under Makuta Astrok, the one who conceived this dreadful monstrosity. It was an unintelligent beast, one that could only express itself through bestial screams; the pain within each outburst belied the immense pain this creature perpetually underwent though mere existence. What one may have confused for roaring was eventually discovered to be a plea of death on the creature’s behalf, spoken in the Gostok tongue.

Pitted against Toa Dorru. (Contenders #41)

The names of the ones who became the Beastly Gostok remain unknown. All that can be said is that these children were the immediate descendants of Gostok Gerlo and Gostok Gellesyl, who mated in an attempt to renew the species’ waning population. They were raised primarily by Gellesyl, who formed the strongest bond with them; Gerlo told them tales of their grandfather Gerikigil, while Gostok Gelenjof, their great uncle, attempted to teach them basic combat. They lived their relatively short childhood in happy and peaceful benignity, as is appropriate for a such age. Life for all the Gostoks changed drastically, however, once the evil Shadebringers cast the world into darkness, blocking out the sun.

The two Gostok Children. (Contenders #36)

Receiving an invitation from the Shadebringers, the Gostoks migrated to the city of Racta Major, the new home for the Toa’s enemies. Gerlo was deeply uncomfortable with living under the Shadebringers, though was spurred on by Gelenjof to accept the request. The Gostoks attempted to resume their newfound peace, allowing the children to play and continue training in spite of being in such hostile climates. This turned out to be a mistake, as one of the Shadebringers, Makuta Astrok, was in the process of creating servants for herself, ones she would use in order to usurp her own outfit. She required specimens to create her third servant, so she had her minion Catcher seek out and kidnap the two children, a task he did successfully.

The children within Astrok’s laboratory. (Contenders #40)

After a series of abhorrent and gut wrenching mutilations, the two Gostok children were fused into a dual-headed, three armed hermaphrodite, one to serve under Astrok’s insidious command. Its first action was to defend Racta Major from the Contenders, the city’s former protectors, who were attempting to undermine the Shadebringers. While it was successful in this regard, it would later become apparent that one of the Contenders, Toa Raxonax, escaped from his cell, and so Astrok would send her minions out to hunt the Toa down; they briefly had an encounter, though they were unable to catch him. Astrok soon ordered the Beastly Gostok and its peers to remain outside Racta Major, waiting for Raxonax’s return.

In pursuit of Toa Raxonax. (Contenders #42)

It did not take long for the Toa to appear once again, leading an army of warriors he had united as the Champions of Day. The Gostok, being a mindless beast, feared not these numbers and attacked forthwith. Despite the commendable ferocity of the Gostok, Astrok called a retreat after one of the Shadebringer servants, the Guardian of the Gate, was destroyed. The creature remained inactive for a day or so within the city walls, before being needed to defend the city from the Champions, who had broken through the entrance. The Gostok proceeded to fight the champions before being confronted by its original father, Gostok Gerlo; without a wink of recognition, the beast charged straight ahead, only to be maimed by the Gostok prince.

Confronting its father, Gostok Gerlo. (Contenders #47)

Whatever remained of the children’s consciousness asked their father for a swift end and so, with a heavy heart, Gerlo complied, slaying the children in one fell swoop.

Boom! I hope that you enjoy this completely non-derivative MOC here, inspired by absolutely nothing at all. In fact, that reminds me- I don't often do this, but have this completely unrelated soundtrack to enjoy-

(Because MOCpages is being a regressive old fart that probably voted for Brexit or Trump, I can't quite put the video I wanted here, so y'all gonna have to click the link here- be warned that this is indeed a Youtube video, for those of you who are unable to use Youtube; for that I apologise. Man, this was way too much explaining for the sake of a joke. I'm sorry everyone)

The back.

Profile- this creature is very hunched over, as you can see- I'm being very insightful and analytical today, can't you tell?

The feels... you guys'll get it later...

Height comparison with the Storm Beasts.

Squaring up against Metru Man.

With Gerlo and Gellesyl, the creature's parents.

Toa Cilla prepares to take the beast down!

Astrok and her entourage of servants.

That's all folks! ...I hope you can forgive me for the mess that is this entire page...

Quoting Callum ~ Hahaha, two children combined to make a disturbing creature that screams in pain eternally...I think I need an adult.
Not as much as they need an adult...! *sadistic laughter*

Quoting Dark Aeon Hehe, I haven't forgotten the link I gave you for writing in futhark. Hehe *sniffle* hehe. I guess all I can say is that you really achieve the beastly look. That black is very...uplifting. And with three arms, I guess that it (He? She? Heshe? Shehe?) would be just right for Eccentrica Gallumbits ;)
Ah whoops- I didn't account for you remembering that... oops. :P Thanks Aeon- and... eeeeewwwww... I don't think she'd really enjoy having this creature's sharp talons on her... Gallumbits... *shudders*

Quoting Wondering Person *cries* So sad. Anyways, onto the moc! I like the aesthetics, and the design, very bestial and seems like something an evil Makuta would do. I do have to say, I'm already feeling the feelz tho. Great job, as usual.
Thanks friend! Oh, you ain't felt nothing yet...! *thunderstorms*

Quoting Toa Whero Woah! Nice work man! I like the color pop of the the two heads compared to the rest the black and silver.
Thanks Whero! That was a nice accidental touch there, with the eyes popping out so strongly.

Quoting High Emperor Duckie Hey, quick favor, could you ask Rap to let me back into OS?
I could, but I don't think he'd let you back in just yet- I guess you must have wound him up somehow. Sorry man- I'll pass a word through to him though :)

Quoting De Silva As everyone has said before, the broken mutated form is awesomely horrific, which is to be expected of it(them?). I personally feel like more color from the two should be in this, but that's all I have to say.
Thanks De Silva- I did try to go for a very messed up, twisted looking creature... Yes, perhaps it could have done with some more colour, though I was trying to keep it in uniform with the other servants of Astrok- very dark, colourless creatures.

Quoting Toa Gaim Whoa! I feel bad for them. Nice job though! Toa Hiroshi:"My word, you poor thing. Maybe I can use the Mask of Life power to help undo the damage done to you."
Thanks Gaim- and to Hiroshi, I think he's grasping at straws there... I'm afraid the children's fate is pretty much sealed.

Quoting Reese Hawthorne I really like the mutated look that this thing has; the two small arms on one side and the one large arm on the other really solidify this. Also RIP gostok children.
I'm glad you picked up on the whole mutated, misshaped look- it was really what I was going for there. Well, they're not quite dead yet- they're living and feeling every moment within this monstrous form, secretly waiting for an adversary to finally end their suffering...
