About this creation

Driver's side shows the pump panel. This particular engine was the first to have a specific crossly section for 1.75" and 2.5" hose. Today, all the engines utilize the cross lay area for 2.5" hose. The compartment under the cross lay area stored the engineer's equipment and various tools. In the most current form of Engine 1, these equipment are now stored in the first driver's side compartment which is immediately behind the pump

Rear shows the hosebed for 4" LDH, 2.5" attack hose, and 3" hose. Today, we have slightly modified our hose beds so that the 3" hose is combined with the 2.5" hose. The 3" hose is what we call the leader line with a gated wye at the end to connect multiple 2.5" or 1.75" hoses to. Or the 3" hose can be utilized for Blitzfire operations.

Officer's side shows the ground ladders stored on the outside of the rig. Today, the ground ladders are stored in a compartment to protect them from the elements.

This workhorse has seen many fires and will continue to see action for the next decade!
