Showing degradation, wear and tear is really hard. You did a great job balancing the worn/missing parts with the regular ones.

Awesome! So many details to enjoy. It looks very realistic, it looks almost like a snapshot taken by a soldier on the battlefield. Really great work on this :-)

Welcome back friend! Absolutely fantastic work here. Just like Alex said, this is astounding on so many levels. People like me build small because our ability to build big and build detailed don't coincide very well. But you, sir, have done a phenomenal job with creating a great, overarching idea and then implementing intricate detailing and design techniques throughout it (sheesh, that's a mouthful). Really love the architecture (even the ruined stuff), and the battle debris that is found everywhere. I salute thee for your attention to detail and overall design: 07 Well done and God bless! ~Promar~

Amazing war scenery! The street and buildings looks very realistic. Only thing I would change is either remove or increase the gap between the grey and tan building! Either the two buildings would be build together, or there should be a passageway between them

Quoting Roanoke Handybuck Wow! Awesome! I love the dreary sad war feel of the scene! Both buildings are awesome, but I like the right one better! Keep it up Dune! :D
Thanks! That is the feel I was hoping to achieve, glad you like it!

Quoting Justin Li Epic destruction! Good job with all the details.
Thank you! The rubble actually took a lot longer than I at first expected it would. I had to redo it a couple of times before it looked the way I wanted it to.

Quoting Mark McPeek Saw this on Flickr, great to see you posting it here! Honestly, one of the most realistic WW II Lego builds I've ever seen. The textures are phenomenal, and your attention to detail is impressive. Awesome work!.
Thanks Mark! Having a reference picture nearby while building really helped in making it as realistic as I could. I will hopefully be posting some more builds here soon!

Great build. And about Saving Private Ryan: this is done better, at the beach in saving pvt Ryan, the wooden structures in the water/at the beach are facing the wrong way. The low end should face the water instead of the high end. (the idea of these structures was to flip over approaching landing vessels)
