Classic Space Mobile Command Center

Hello! Here's another Classic Space creation from me, a mobile command center!
About this creation
Every once in a while, my uncle and I do a bit of a challenge. Normally, for the challenge, we'd take an old CS set, and we'd each have to build our own version of it. But this time, for our challenge, we decided to build something CS never had, a mobile base! I went with a command center, and he, along with my nephew, is working on a mobile research base. Anyways, on to the creation!

I was originally planning on a much larger mobile base, not just a command center, with all the works. But unfortunately, I just didn't have enough parts. That's why I decided to go with a smaller command center. And I'm pretty pleased with the result!

In front, we've got the cab, obviously.

Here's a shot of the back of the cab.

Here's the trailer end, where all the fun stuff is.

Here's the rear window.

The other side.

Now, we'll take a look at the features, and each of the crew along with their jobs.

Up front, we've got the red spaceman, who drives the vehicle.

Also in the cab, we have the yellow spaceman, who's job is to make sure the vehicle runs smoothly. He watches fuel levels, tire pressure, keeps the artificial gravity going, etc.

Here's the main door to the command center.

And here's a peek inside.

The command center also has a top hatch.

Another peek inside.

I also made it so you can open up the side of the vehicle, for easier access to the figures.

The white spaceman here is the one who issues orders to the rest of the spacemen on the planet.

Here's the black spaceman, who keeps track of transmissions on the planet.

And here's the blue spaceman, who gets the fun job. He gets to keep an eye on transmissions from earth, so basically, he gets to watch TV. ;)

Another shot of the full base.

And here it is along with my CS mech, and my Blacktron Exploration Vehicle.

****FOURTH WALL****
Whew. It took quite some time to build this thing. It was especially hard with my limited CS color bricks. But I finally finished it, and I love it. But what I really want to know is what you guys think, so please, comment and give me your thoughts. :)

Oh, also, my birthday is coming up in a few days, so I probably won't be posting anything else for a while. Also, shortly after my birthday I'll be leaving for a three week trip, so I probably won't be on much. While I'm away from home, I wont have access to my normal bricks, but my mother bought both me and my brother two identical Creator sets! While on the trip my brother and I will challenge each other to build different alternates to one or both of the sets. So, I may post those. Anyways, this'll be the last proper creation from me for a while.

Goodbye!

Quoting [ Kromastus ] Love the shaping of the vehicle and the consistent Classic-Space colouring and styling. The large front wheels in particular are unique, but work well. The amount of details and figures crammed into such a relatively small interior space is impressive too.
Thank you so much! :D

Quoting Michael Elder A huge fan of the front wheels. They make the back wheel set seem almost hidden. Props for adding the option to open up the back, and somehow fitting three mini figures (with gear on) in the back.
Thank you! :D

Quoting Supreme Chancellor Vandilor @Daniel H. Aww? Sorry? Haha?!?!? Wow... Never seen those words in the same sentence before!! xD
Lol. XD (Please don't keep liking with every comment, as that is kind of spam liking. You made up for the glitch, but this was an extra.)

Quoting Supreme Chancellor Vandilor Oh, and good luck with the family contest! ;) Would your uncle and nephew mind if you put up their creation too? I would like to compare yours to them, and see who's is better!! :P
Thanks! Hmm, I'd have to see. Also, it's not done yet, so if I did share it, it probably wouldn't be till after my trip.

Quoting Supreme Chancellor Vandilor *Sigh* This makes me sad in a way, as classic space is probally one of my favroute lego themes.... I wish they would make stuff like that now... :( But on the bright side, you captured the feel of classic space perfectly, and I think it turned out a really nice set!!! If I could, I would love to add this to my Lego collection! :)
Aww sorry haha. And thanks! :D

Quoting Marley Mac Very cool! You really captured the Classic Space feel. Great job! One thing I like especially if that rear window. Looking forward to seeing more CS stuff from you!
Thank you! :D The entire build actually started with that window. It was originally going to be the front window, but I realized it wouldn't work too well.

Quoting Bossk Gunderson Awesome! I should try some challenges with my brother, seems like fun! Is your uncle an AFoL?

Quoting Doug Hughes First of all, I LOVE it! got a great vibe on the general aesthetic! As for critique, I'd say the only off bit for me is that there's one set of small wheels that has a hubcap and the others don't. Maybs due to part shortage? Either way, no biggie, and great job!
Thank you Doug! :D Yeah, parts shortage.
