Do you see it ?
Maybe some of you don't... But this is how it is in real life even when you look for them.
About this creation
This design with different texture for the fish and the sand represents the flat fish laying on the sand.
Flat fish - sand camo

In this other design, I made the same texture for the sand and the fish. This is how it looks (more or less) when the fish is burried into the sand. For sure more difficult to see it.

Flat fish - sand camo

A real picture of that sort of flat fish (Scophthalmus maximus - Turbot)

Flat fish - real

The fish "extracted" from the sand

I hope you liked that one, in particular master The Actionfigure. ;)
Thank you for viewing.

Quoting Per Bonde That is amazing. Out of the box thinking. Well done. I even skipped it on first glance, because it was all one color! Glad I came back!

Quoting Gabor Pauler Building this was such a hard task as selling a carpet for a flat fish...
Hahaha! You can't imagine how hard it was... I had to dismount almost everything when I decided to put tiles because fish and sand where completely connected. Then I rebuilt, making the fish on one side and the print on the sand on the other side.

Intriguing idea! Using tiles for the sand really helps with telling the two apart! --Blast--

Really nice. I like how you have used tiles and plates to help differentiate between the fish and the sand.
