RMS Aquitania was one of the most famous British ocean liners, serving from 1914 until 1950. Her attractive appearance earned her the nickname "Ship Beautiful", but she could easily be called "Ship Lucky", because she survived service in two world wars. The livery you can see here is the one from WW2 era, when she served as a troop transport.
My model was built in the same scale as RMS Titanic and you are invited to compare the two and pick your personal favorite.
RMS Aquitania was the last of four-funneled grand ocean liners and I could not resist building this magnificent ship. It was slower but way larger than her predecessors Mauretania and ill-fated Lusitania.
Below is a fictional scene of RMS Aquitania sinking in a manner similar to the one of RMS Britannic, although if she was to suffer the same fate, it would most likely be because of a torpedo hit and not a mine.
