The Greedy
The Greedy, a pirate spaceship.
About this creation
Let me take you on a tour around the last remainings of a long dreaded legend...

The Greedy was once a part of a gigantic pirateship: The ARRRRR.

The ARRRRR was shaped like a one-eyed captain and, taking the Greedy for scale, it must have been stunningly enormeous.

In its final battle during the great wars for the treasuregalaxy it was heavily damaged. The ARRRRR had suffered severe damage, had lost it's right hand and left foot.

It vanished forever into the big black, leaving legendary stories of battle and mutiny; and a red right hand still holds the galaxy in a grip of fear...heheheh.

The white innerstructure, known as The Bone and some engineparts are revealing the last remainings of the connections to the right arm of the ARRRRR.

The Greedy needs the support of a glass, a fact that I dearly regret. So, no standalone MOC due to heavy constructionwork, length of the thing and gravityforces.

More grables, uhm, greebles.

Ozark Mourn, self claimed captain of The Greedy, made some specifications to the ship himself.

For instance: he installed a cockpit on the underside of the ship. In this way, he has a clear view on what he grabs and at what he's taking a shot. On the other, uhm, hand The Greedy doesn't fly in this position. So Ozark has an upside down view of his landing spot and the rest of the universe. If ever there is an upside down in space????

The entire interior of his cockpit folds out to a scoutwalker. Ozark likes to call his walker The Feeling...

Now, where did he go... This way?

Or, that way?

Those hatches always come in, uhm, handy for stocking loot and other treasures.

"Ten past nine, ten past nine!
What is yours will soon be mine!"

You don't want to hear that over the intercom on your bridge, believe me!

The Greedy has no need for loads of canons, guns or blasters. Instead it has an excellent cloacking device, a black glove. So this extremely agile ship sneaks in like a burgler into your fleet to bring certain doom over your beloved vessels. No need for Ozark to enter your ship; The Greedy will simply tear it apart and take what it likes.

Another improvement on The Greedy: a Lasergun mounted by Ozark, right behind the triggerfinger. (Triggerfinger is by coinsidence a great rockband you folks really should check out!)

Hitchhiking, one of the oldest tricks in the ambushbook.

Super fast warp 11 lightspeed mode. And, of course, hard rock on his stereo!

Aaah, there he is!

Scratching the surface, ready for take off.

Bloody sweet. As for the glass predicament, try spreading the fingers so it lays flat OR fly it "upside down" like an uppercut.

ok.... why is it a hand? it has great detail and everything, I just don't get the "artsy" part of it.
