humour and entertainment

Hello there readers, I am alive and well. Unfortunately I have been complete busy with a new year in school. But I've only missed...ugh.... A month. That's good.... Right?

Right?

Right?

I'm struggling to find hilarity, new series's and other entertainment on the pages of late, although it is there somewhere, I'm sure! If you see anything that would fit this newspaper page like a glove, it would be much appreciated if you could let me know!

So firstly a few jokes!

The current Mocpages server.

BWA HA HA HA ha ha... ha..... ha?..... Sorry. Too soon.

Why did the motorcyclist paint his bike white and tie a stormtrooper helmet to the front?

Well, it's a stromtrooper bike. It's super safe. It'll never hit anything!

Which knight designed King Author's Round Table at Camelot?

Sir. Cumferance.

Every week I'll also add a riddle! Post your answers in the group or in the comment section. I'll announce the first person to get it right, and release the answer in the next paper.

"At the start, I travel on 4. By the middle, on 2. By the end, on 3. What am I?"

Funny-ness.

So firstly this little coffe monster of Oliver Becker's really brings a smile to the face. as someone who lives and is powered solely by coffee, I can relate. A lot.
;; caffeine, anyone?

And the only comment I can make for this fellow is "SQUAAAAA.". (This needs to be a Mocpages meme.) A great build!
;; SQUAAAAA

And lastly, someone who had a bad day. A very bad day.
;; OUCH!

Entertainment.

The Fantasy Medieval RPG (Role Playing group) known as LOM (lands of mythron) is known for its amazing builds and stories. A few months ago it was set back up, so why not give that wee look if you haven't already?
;; The lands of Mythron, the best faction of which is the Outlaws. (what? I'm allowed an opinion, seeing it is the correct one :P )

forgotten gems
There. Done, dusted and lightly polished:

Hello readers! Sam K here. Feels like itís been forever. Oh wait. Now, because of Mocpages being down forÖa while, Iíve found it harder than usual to unearth gems. This means that Iíve had to crack open some vintage Mocs from September. Well, here we go!

#1 ĎModular Tearoomí by Giacinto Consiglio
http://www.moc-pages.com/moc.php/442607

If thereís one thing I absolutely love, itís modular buildings. This one is no exception. Itís simply jam-packed with detail. My favourite details have got to be the use of alternating 1X1 studs and tiles down the right side of the building. One of the best things about this Moc is the fact that the interior is fully furnished, with small details such as a nice looking bed, and a shower curtain, which uses a very clever technique. Amazing!

#2 ĎMicroscale TIE Silencerí by Sethmes KaNakhtShema
http://www.moc-pages.com/moc.php/442210

Usually, when I look at something of this scale, I can get a pretty good idea of how itís built. However, I cannot for the life of me work out how the wings are attached to this TIE silencer. Despite its tiny size, itís actually pretty accurate. I like how, despite the blackness of the thing, the red cockpit still shines through. Superb!

#3 Ď[BrickHeadz] Kokeshií by Joao Campos
http://www.moc-pages.com/moc.php/442222

Although Iím not a big fan of Brickheadz in general, I am a fan of this Kokeshi one. Despite the simple look Brickheadz have, this one has lots of little details. My favourite is the bow at the back, as well as the yellow sash that goes all the way around. Wonderful!

Basically any non-standard X-wing goes. So no T-65 or T-70s. You can make your own design or use an existing ship. Like the Tandom-X or the XJ X-wing. It must be minifig scale. It must be an X-wing. It must have a droid slot.

Land- Human Mech

Premise- Life on Mars story line where we go to Mars and meet martians. They have mechs. We come back. Humans see humans do. So build a mech that these humans would build after seeing Mars.

They must have a cockpit head, two-four legs, two-four arms. They also must be modular.

Mini- Alien Cruiser of some kind, must have some form of saucer in the design.

This contest will be open until Christmas. Everyone who is apart of the group can vote, including those who enter. You may not vote for yourself.
" It's sure to be fun, so you should head on over!;
