The basic introduction to The Scavengers' Co-op
About this creation

Crane: Welcome, troopers. This is your leader, Commander Crane speaking.
Pedro: And this is your randomly teleporting magician, Pedro the Peddler speaking!
Crane: You may be wondering why I've summoned you here today.
Pedro: We have an intergalactic bike sale going on... BOGO HoverBikes with free decals and a complimentary cookie!
Crane: Well, the main reason is that we have updated the storyline and are bringing the co-op to MOCpages.
Pedro: Oh yeah, that too. You can find more info below.

So, as Crane and Pedro explained, we (Phillip Pip9766 and I) are bringing the co-op here to the 'Pages. You can find all kinds of info here:

Basic storyline:

Two years ago, billions of insect-like yet humanoid aliens called the Hephaestans invaded Earth. As humanity tried desperately to fight back, it was discovered that the Hephaestans were not unlike many bugs native to our planet in the sense that they required warm, wet conditions to survive. For this reason, civilians founded new "safe haven" cities in deserts and tundras, on mountains, and really any place that the Hephaestans could not survive in. While the official armies of the world decided on how to handle the situation from headquarters deep in safe territory, resistance groups formed on the borders between safe cities and seasonally dangerous areas. The Scavengers, for example, stationed themselves in the American Midwest, staying in Canada during fall and winter and moving down past the U.S.-Canadian border in spring to hold off the yearly arrival of alien expeditionary forces that seek to destroy the southernmost safe cities over the warm summer months. The Scavengers designed their own equipment made by their engineers, who formed ScavTech Industries, but anybody looking to join can still use custom equipment or surplus military weapons.

How to join:

Post a bio containing these items:

Codename (you can include an actual name if you want, but you need to have a codename):
Age:
Height:
Weight:
Equipment (if any of the weapons are similar to generic ScavTech ones, I will most likely use the ScavTech ones. Also be sure to include what colors of camo and what type of melee weapon you want):
Symbol (for example, Crane's is a crane):
Personality/traits:
Background:
Any extra info that you think is important:

Pics:

Main Pic: The official co-op poster

Pic 1: From left to right, Hephaestan hovertank, Hephaestan infantry soldier (pictured with blaster and grenade), Hephaestan heavy trooper (pictured with rocket lanucher), Hephaestan transport shuttle (pictured flying over Hephaesta)

Pic 2: From left to right, Tracker (second-in-command, pictured piloting his 'mech), Pedro the Peddler (co-founder, Phillip Pip9766's main character), Crane (commander, my main character), C-1 (Crane's droid), Ace (second-in-command, pictured manning an artillery piece)

Posting RPs, missions, and bios will be done in the group "The Scavengers Role-play". Pedro's junk shop and all conversation threads will also be there.

So, there you have it! I will post a meeting soon to organize the new storyline into RP missions, organize ranks, etc.

Hey, mattender! Good to see you here. Once I get all settled in here, I might get the WWII collab going again, and if so I will notify you as soon as I get it started. For now, you can post your MOCs separate, and if I start the collab later on, you can transfer them into the group.

Another note: If you want more people to see, this you could add it to the Gallery group, just to let people know.

Cool, Cool! (It's so nice I say it twice.)... erm, anyway... this is great! Though, do you think you could edit this a little bit to fit better in the group? Mostly just mention that the group will be a thing. ;)

Quoting LukeClarenceVan The Revanchist Hmm, that's odd. If an upload's successful you'll see blocks of HTML code in the main text box - perhaps try 1-2 images at a time and see if that works out.
Thank you so much! I tried uploading the pictures one at a time, and this time they worked fine. Again, thank you for helping me figure this out. :D

Quoting LukeClarenceVan The Revanchist Hey, welcome to MOCpages! Your account's currently under moderation so this page is hidden from people until it's approved - unfortunately you do need at least one photo of LEGO to be on a page in order for approval. If the "fancy uploader" isn't working for you, go over these instructions: http://www.moc-pages.com/moc.php/405476 , or try the simple uploader instead. The simple uploader is weird in that you can't just upload a main image - you must also upload another image it with it, and ideally avoid uploading more than 4 images per batch. Hope that helps, and if it's not working then you can head over to the MOCpages Help group to get more assistance.
I uploaded one main image and two other images on the simple uploader, and it said that they were done uploading and that I could continue. However, it doesn't seem like they want to show up.
