Fateful Errors Of Mankind (unpopular) Part 1
"Uggblook today big quarry, Uggblook today big quarry!" Sorry for my hiatus here on MP, there was too much other monkey business... Sorry for not answering on comments, I try to do better (as I used to do...)!
About this creation
It seems hard to believe where we are today after THIS moment long time ago? Maybe it's like a genious mind said: Today we're still standing at the abyss of despair, but tomorrow we'll be one step beyond!
The Cave-man is an older build of mine, waiting verrry long for his appearance, partly rebuilt (while needing parts) and now a little tuned! The rest is NEW! ;)

total-shot 1

total-shot 2

Stone Age- fly, very curious...

Stone Age- carnival bird, a little uncertain...

Stone Age- armadillo, very shy and not- likin' what's going on here...

Stone Age- hero( he liked to be one...), lookin' for the horizon, his own intellectual one doesn't seem to be very big...

Stone Age- cave bear [Ursus spelaeus], really not amused...

So many people love the bear, so sometimes the background is the winner! Because of this fact I added some pics more here, also from the caveman! :)

As Jeremy told, it's just in time now... ;)

Maybe Better pics?

Enjoy and have FUN!

Quoting Didier B I'm not really fond of the figure but the bear is really awesome!
It's just my comic LEGO version of a cave man (Cro magnon...?), it's just out of my mind as the bear is, too... ;) And last one steals the show! Glad you're a pet lover here, Did! :)

Quoting Jeremy McCreary You're back! And zanier than ever, my friend. The fly is priceless. In my 3rd wildest dream, that guy's the Stone Age forebear of a certain US President. And of course, I'm rooting for the bear. (Sorry, this isn't the place to discuss my 1st and 2nd wildest dreams, but I can tell you that they don't involve presidents.)
Hahaha, THAT'S a comment as I like it, my friend! You interpreted my intentions in one way I like much, and there are many others to do so... ;) I also have wild dreams sometimes, don't mind about that!! LOL Thanks Jeremy, and sorry for answer a little late... ;)

Quoting Sven ;o) Oh, da ist mir wohl was durch die Lappen gegangen... Sorry for that! Normalerweise passiert mir das nicht. Oliver mein lieber, das hast du wieder richtig klasse gemacht. Und da ich Part 1 lese, wird da bestimmt noch einiges folgen. Fantastic work and parts usage as usual my friend! :)
You're wellcome! I'm again late to answer, so we're more than quit! ;) Dankeschöööön Sven! Good you've FUN here! Part 2 will follow, it's just a case of time and it won't be as big as this one, maybe... ;)

Quoting Doug Hughes I love how vibrant and busy the scene is without feeling cluttered. The bear and other creatures are also very expressive which makes it all the more enjoyable!!
Thanks very much, my friend! After my bricks only reached for a bear- bust with arms, I liked to get the background a little in action, so it was a little nifty to get the wood "moved" while the bear chops it's way through the undergrowth... ;)

Quoting Clayton Marchetti My Dad use to say”Some time you eat the bear, and sometimes the bear eats you” brilliant work Oliver! I love the bear. The fans make great eyebrows. I love the bird. He’s like this guy really doesn’t know the bears right there. Ha ha ha.
Haha, I remember this idiom! Thanks so much, my friend! As you love my bear, new pics are posted today! :)

Quoting Nick Barrett The caveman's good, the bear steals the show! Right before he steals caveman's head... ;-)
Haha, wonderful comment here! A typical Nick, as I/we love him! Thanks very much! Because of the great popularity of the bear I posted some new pics. Sorrowly I had not enough bricks for a "whole" bear, so it's just a torso... ;)

Quoting (Insert Name) Very nice! The detail is over the top as always!
Thank you very much, Duckie! The sidekicks are like salt&pepper, and yes: the backdrop was much work to do, considering that my first plans were to get the scene ready in a rush... ;)

Quoting Gabor Pauler The hungry bear is still not very frightening, something like of a Hanna-Barbara cartoon.
THIS is a cartoon in LEGO, Gabor! ;) My roots in comics are on the one hand the Bark's ones of Donald Duck, and here my thoughts were while building the bear( even I had no Photos of the DD- story I remembered), this Teddy is just my fantasy! Maybe you find some little more frightenin' pics looking at the new posted ones? Thanks Gabor!
