About this creation
I remember how the Coast Guard frequently roamed the shores of Lake Michigan in the Seaguard. My Lego model sports a rescue winch, just like the real thing, but alas it does not also float! My winch reel sits just behind the main rotor mast. The starboard side door opens to allow rescue swimmers to pull in survivors of maritime emergencies.

In mid-December 2017 I sold the actual built-out model (shown in pictures below); it is 277 elements.

Shown below: My Lego model "in flight" hoisting up a mini-figure.

Shown below: a mini-figure just outside the lower cabin door.

Shown below: the mini-fig sits inside the cabin. The grappling hook on the winch line is tethered to a Lego element having a knob.

Shown below: Viewed from a new angle. Note the US military aircraft marking above the door, and the aircraft number. This model is one of the first where I created my own decals to apply to my models.

Shown below: Tail boom, starboard side, with the 'Coast Guard' decal I created and applied.
