I remember how the Coast Guard frequently roamed the shores of Lake Michigan in the Seaguard. My Lego model sports a rescue winch, just like the real thing, but alas it does not also float! My winch reel sits just behind the main rotor mast. The starboard side door opens to allow rescue swimmers to pull in survivors of maritime emergencies.
In mid-December 2017 I sold the actual built-out model (shown in pictures below); it is 277 elements.
