Bree
My final entry I built for the CCC! :) By Roanoke Handybuck! :D
About this creation
Hello! Here is a scene I built of a small town section of bree!

This is my 6th and final CCC entry! It will be in the village life category!

So, about the build, it is on a 35 x 35 base with a stud overhang on two sides, so it fits in 36 x 36. :) I estimate it being around 2000 pieces that are used in this. :) I had fun experimenting with a bunch of wacky angles, and I like the sagging feel that I got. It was a lot of fun to build, so I hope you enjoy! :D

Pics:

Mainly inspired by Legonardo and The Maestro's excellent builds. :)

C&C Appreciated!

I hope you enjoyed!

To God be the glory!

Sweet! Yeh, nice moc, it does kinda feel like the town is drooping, nice job on that. You've definitely WOWED us again!

Really nicely done! I can definitely see stuff from Maestro and Legonardo bleeding over into this. Two of my favorite parts of this build are the dark red detailing on the top of the roof as well as the fencing. I like how closely you fit the rails together because of the smooth look it creates. There are a few things I think could have been better. At least from the photos, the house seems a little over textured to me. I think if you'd laid off on the texturing on the second level it would have created some nice contrast between the floors. Also, I would have dropped the bucket that's on top of the chimney. Anyway, that's just my opinion. This is still a really good build. Keep it up Roanoke!

Once again,a fantastic creation! Loving the roof design, but the way the building stands, with the slight angles...just jaw-dropping. Nice work mate!

You've nailed it yet again, Roanoke! All-around excellent work, everything looks fantastic. My favorite part is the slightly curved pathway border, which, though it seems like a small thing, removes that ever-present potentiality for unnatural rigidity (yikes, that's a mouthful!). I also really like the (and I quote) "wacky angles" that you've incorporated into the building. I've either never had the patience, or simply never understood how that's been done, so it remains an awe-inspiring mystery to me. Ah well, it being a new year and all, I might very well explore that over the next several months... God bless and keep on brickin'! ~Promar~
