LEGO Apollo moon landings

This diorama shows of many of the Apollo moon missions. A lot of these scenes are based off of real pictures and were recreated in LEGO. Most of these are from Apollo 11 due to its basic Landscape. though I do plan on doing some hills for Apollo 15, 16, and 17. The lunar module uses rare metallic gold pieces along with some metallic silver and some basic gold. The lunar rover does fold up to fit inside of the LEM. Some of the expiements out include the solar wind expirment and the seismic expirment. And of course you cannot forget about the flag. If you want to see a full video of this be sure to go check out my YouTube channel called Bigplanes.

Quoting Jeremy McCreary Superb in every way -- representations, scenes, lighting. Deserves way more attention, but to get much of that around here lately, you need to post a pop culture build or a Speed Champions-style car -- a sad state of affairs.
Thanks! It sure is...

Quoting Kurt's MOCs Great work! More details of the LM would be cool. I'm impressed that you got the Rover to fit into the storage bay. That one eluded me!
Thanks! I will be sure to add more detailed pics. I saw yours and was greatly impressed. Are you ever going to build in in LEGO though? That would be an awesome comparison!

Thanks! The lighting was a challenging part for sure. It has been a bit quiet around here. I am not overly active on mocpages these days mostly due to the lack of action Mocs seem to be getting.

Quoting Pontel Gunn Man this is amazing! Isn't it sad that I was shocked to see no one had commented ranting about how the landing was fake? Love how life like you got it to all look. It'd be cool if you did a stop motion of the flag waving with the lander in the background.
I know how you feel :( now a days the moon landings are becoming more famous for being a hoax than a historic mission. I would love to do a stop motion but am not quite that skilled.
