Węlwulf APC
About this creation
Even a Neo-Medieval kingdom needs mechanized transport in the age of modern weapons. Enter the Węlwulf Armored Personnel Carrier.

With a straightforward, no nonsense design, the Węlwulf is built for supreme utility. It features thick armor plating, treads for all-terrain travel, and a large amount of passenger/cargo space for its size.

The Węlwulf comes in different color schemes for different terrain, shown here is the jungle camouflage pattern.

On the roof is mounted a machine gun turret with 360° of rotation. The gunner is shown at the turret, and the driver at the top hatch.

Shown here are the New Saxon jungle infantry, with trademark ballistic-absorption shields.

The Węlwulf can carry six infantrymen with equipment comfortably, plus driver and gunner. Here five infantry and the gunner are seated in the personnel compartment, the driver is on the raised seat, and a sixth infantryman is demonstrating the front hatch.

It features both front and rear hatches.

The wolf of slaughter is prowling the forest, waiting...

I have to say, the mixture between knight and tank is great here! I love the thought of a semi-historical nation. Keep up the good work.

Neat! Very compact!

I make an urban troop carrier narrow so it can fit through alley ways. I hadn't thought about fitting through the jungle, good thinking.

Quoting Benjamin Harvey Love the hatch at the front! Also, I liked it but for some reason it doesn't show above my name :(
Thank you! Thanks, that's fine, Mocpages will do what Mocpages will do. ;-)
Quoting Pico van Grootveld Very realistic, well done! I like the whole jungle setting you did.
Thanks, glad you like it!

Very neat. I don't think the camo will be much use. I mean who's gonna see that thing as think oh a nice think jungle Wal for me to climb or rest on. I think they'll think ahhh a giant vehicle with a turret is coming to blow me up maybe I should take cover. Lol great work.

You are a GO for DA3 CAT4. You are ALMOST a no go. two reasons. 1. Your photos are inconsistent and confusing. In the overhead view, we see SIX soldiers in the troop compartment, and a guy sticking out of the hatch on the front slope (with an RPG). Then, right below, we see a pic of FIVE guys and the RPG dude. It's confusing. Second reason you were ALMOST a no go: Your spare tread is NOT the same as the tread you use on the vehicle. Now, we didn't say that your spare tread or tier had to be identical to the tread or tire you use on the vehicle... but it SHOULD be obvious. This is a GO, but the DAS almost handed you a no go. Think about these issues when posting your NEXT CAT. Good luck!

Thank you! Yeah, that's probably how it would go once it got close ;-) FYI, this is for the Decisive Action wargame in which smilies equal power, so I'd appreciate it if you would leave a like!
Quoting Patrick Boyle Finally, some camo! Nice work, looks like the real deal!
Thanks! This is based roughly on the real-world m113 APC.
Quoting Daniel H. Ah, that's wicked.
Out for blood, at any rate. ;-)
Quoting Seaman SPb Nice work!
Thanks!
Quoting P. Andrei The shots with vegetation are awesome. You were just trying to make it harder for yourself with those helmets, weren't you? To get them to fit in there I mean. :)
Thank you, military vehicles are not my strength, got to use every edge I can. :-)
Quoting Master Shifu Leo J Very nice!
Thanks!

Thanks for the all clear, and the warning. I put the gunner in the back for that one shot to show all 8 inside. As for the track section, yeah, that is a problem, but there's no way to show just a section of the rubber piece exactly, and I didn't have another, so I had to use some artistic license.
Quoting Zach Sweigart Wow! This is very cool! Lots of detail in a small size. I love the camo and the fact you used conveyor belts for treads! I've never seen that before. Great work!
Thank you!
