Rapid response PT boat for warfare on the cheap.
About this creation

Decisive Action.

We spent all our money on the plane...

Somewhat less luxurious, our navy has to make do with something less comfortable, and a lot less safe. Good job their such fearsome, brave soldiers.

And we did spring for some torpedos...

Just don't shoot the inflatable sides with an arrow. Please.

The crew. Left to right, we have our decorated Olympic swimmer Rebecca, who makes the most effective Seaman. She doesn't really need a boat... There's Gunner Jack, who nobody can understand but at least he shoots straight. There's Captain Stephanie, a restless workaholic who literally can't sit down. And finally Colin the I.T. guy who's the closest thing we have to an Engineer.

At least there's plenty of room for them. The boat's 33 studs long.

Those side ...pontoons (Is that the right term ?) are securely connected by single stud connections, gravity and hope. Surprisingly effective. There's flex tube through the middle.

Ready for battle...

We'll see you there. Don't bring any sharp objects.

That connection/ hull design is downright fantastic (though hopefully not too much of a pain to perfect). Great stuff Nick!

Maybe the plane is bigger but this still shows lovely technique. I'm drooling over those curves!

General Barrett your PT Boat is specifications-accurate and ready to rule the wine-dark seas of DA3. Good luck in turn 3 and beyond!

Very cool build! Excellent shaping, reminds me of that brick-built dinghy category from DA2!

A debatable inflatable from a military standpoint, but I love the hull!

Marvelous. The hull shaping with those curving pontoons is really well done.

I am always in agreement with flexible tubing for added stability and protection!
