DA3: Dog Arms (CAT16)
Ranger Steves personal Mech
About this creation

Welcome allies, enemy's and fans of DA3,

This is my ranger build, I trust you have noted the classic space colour scheme, in this universe it denotes that the mech is a prototype. The name of the ranger is ranger Steve, he is fully equipped for espionage and sabotage with his powerful mech known (for reasons you will soon discover) as Dog Arms.

As much as ranger Steve enjoys espionage missions he is often off duty, wanderings the dystopian wastelands outside the capital of Airstrip One, he often feels lonely, but wait what's this!

That's right Dog Arms has Dog Arms, who'd have guessed.

Strictly speaking these two dog drones are meant for Reconnaissance only, however ranger Steve enjoys their company when wandering the vast, empty wastelands.

Here he is with his companions:

He calls the one on the left K-9 and the one on the right J-8.

Now here's some more pictures of the mech:

And now some pictures of Ranger Steve on a sabotage mission:

^planting the explosive, a guard fatally entering the blast zone.

^ silencing a sentry (my favourite picture of the day!)

Finally, pictures showing the mech on an 8x12 platform and showing that the dogs are built with more than 10 pieces:

And now for a short story about ranger Steve:

Whilst mining in his industrial mech, the cave abruptly began to shake, pandamoneous gunfire pierced Steves ears as the Bipedal mining mech lost its ballance. Steve diagnosed the thunderous quakes and gunfire as an invasion via the mine shafts. The mech was badly damaged, but Steve insisted that it's power was enough to at least delay the attackers, in the name of Airstrip One! Eventually Steve met the attackers, his mech was taking critical damage but visions of his supreme leader kept Steve fighting. However the critical damage enflicted on his mech was getting worse, systems were shutting down rapidly. In a last effort to defeat the attackers Steve rimmed his mech into the cave wall. Gunfire. Darkness. The cave had collapsed.

The darkness left Steves eyes, he found himself in an office, with an unfamiliar lady. he read her badge. It read "MINISTER OF PROPAGANDA"
she proceeded to tell Steve that his mech had a camera feed and his actions had not gone unnoticed, she told Steve that he could be a model soldier and that he would receive a new specialised, trademark mech, one not too dissimilar to that of the mining mech. Steve accepted the offer and became ranger Steve, brave patroller of the barron wastelands. After doing such a good job inspiring people he eventually received special training to become a master of sabotage and espionage.

End of story, it's not so great I know but Its spec accurate.

FOURTH WALL:
Well that's my CAT16 ranger build, I've also built my national leadership and logistics landing craft but I'll be uploading them another time. Hope you enjoyed, ranger Steve over and out!

Quoting VAkkron I understand now. I couldn't tell the arms were companions, I suppose I didn't read carefully enough. You are now specs-accurate, although an extra picture showing size would be an added and appreciated layer of confirmation.
Ok, I'll add a pic tomorrow but for now I'm glad things have been cleared up. (also the things called dog arms for a reason lol)

Quoting VAkkron I'm a bit confused by how you justify the size restrictions here. Did you just remove the arms to say it fits in the 8x12 footprint? That doesn't make much sense to me. Is it possible to get it to fit if you rotate the mech by 90 degrees? I will edit this comment to include an approval after we sort this out. Hopefully that isn't too inconvenient for you.
I consider the arms primarily as companions so I took them off for the picture, however I'll happily take a picture of it rotated on the 8x12
