Animal Zords driven by animals that combine into one big animal Megazord.
A very very late entry to the final round of Runkbolt's Mech/Walker Contest.
About this creation
Finally, after far too much procrastinating, I give you my final entry to Runkbolt's Mech contest!
The theme was animals, and while trying to decide between building an animal-themed mech or a mech driven by animals, I figured "Why not do both?" And of course, one can't start designing an animal mech without at least momentarily considering the Power Rangers, and one thing led to another. Hope this was worth the wait guys!
The Zords rushing into the fray.
Those evil monsters don't stand a chance!
The Rangers(left to right obviously): Formica, calculating Blue Ranger! Scorpio, hot-headed Red Ranger! Gallina, steadfast Silver Ranger! Rana, daredevil Green Ranger! Aranea, relaxed White Ranger!
Alright guys, it's time to form the Fauna Megazord!
Fauna Megazord complete!
Not so fast, insult to science!
Weapons at the ready(okay, that gun's a bit more Gundam than Power Rangers, but who cares?)
"...Um, get back in your cages, please?"
Yeah, this took about a week and a half to build, and I'm pretty happy with it! The posing is a bit limited, and the whole MOC sacrifices sturdiness for style, but overall for a first try it's not too bad I think. A combiner-type robot is something I've always wanted to build, but never stuck to it enough to actually finish one. Thanks for the push Runkbolt! Comments and critique are always appreciated, so let me know what you think! That's it for now. *TeleTorps*
(Oh! And if anybody wanted to try and build one of these themselves, I have some deconstructed views of the individual Zords I could post if they were interested.)

While it is a bit bulky, I think this is a fantastic first attempt! The animals are perfect to drive this thing. I need to get back to building some of my own Megazords. Excellent!
It is pretty chunky, but part of that is to fit the animals in/on the mechs. Let's just say it's made a few too many visits to Krispy Kreme. :P Thanks!
