747
This is my custom LEGO Pan Am 747. This plane has a wing span of about 5 feet and a length of about 6 feet. It has a full interior and even an upper lounge! This 747 uses an estimated 20,000 pieces and weighs an estimated 70 lbs. You can see the full tour of this plane on my YouTube channel called Bigplanes. And yes this is my TWA 747 that had been refurbished and put in the Pan Am livery.
About this creation

This picture shows the angle of the wings along with the detailed flaps on the back.

The roof can be removed to show the interior of this jumbo jet. There are first class seats, galleys and even an upper lounge area with couches!

This is just like the picture before but shows the arrangement of the seats better.

This jumbo jet can support itself on its own landing gear without any supports. This angle here shows how the tail is slightly angled upward.

These are just weights that were added to stabilize the wing.

This aircraft has a wingspan of about 5 feet and a length of 6 feet.

There are 10 functioning doors. 5 on each side.

I am a big fan of 747, I'd love to fly with one, but since the twin-jets are more or less a norm even on long distance routes, I'll have to get lucky... Pan Am livery is a true classic and you did a great job depicting this iconic plane!

Quoting Henrik Jensen Fantastic Jumbo Jet! Really amazing that the landing gear is able to carry the massive weight! Did you sacrifice your TWA 747 to make this one?
Thanks! There are some interesting physics going on under there that allow it to happen. I am still using a large portion of the TWA design ideas in this ,but a huge amount of features and reinforcements have been added to bring it to the next level.

Quoting Jesse Long I wonder if you plan on building a Boeing 787 Dreamliner or Airbus A380 next?
I may do those. I do plan on doing a 707 and 737 though. And maybe a concord. If I have room.

Quoting Max P. Wow. I have always dreamed about LEGO City set with minifig-scale 747! I have some airplane sets and I always think they're too small. Your plane is genius!
Yes the scale they use is not quite realistic. This thing is massive so I see why.

Quoting Kurt's MOCs Beautiful work! The scale is mesmerizing and the details are awesome, especially the wings. I love that you've completed the interior and that all the emergency exit doors open. Nice drone shots as well!
Thanks! The doors were a must because they really help to show off the size of the model. The drone was a handy tool to.
