The Anhaga Ranger is one of the most elite and deadly of the Niwe Seaxisc Rice units. They ride motorcycles for unparalleled mobility in all kinds of terrain.
Shown here is the the Ranger's only companion, a Brimfulga attack drone.
Rangers are trained in both modern and traditional weaponry, and are able to bring both to bear as the situation demands. Here, a Ranger uses his sword to dispatch a enemy sentry silently.
Here a Ranger sets explosives to destroy a bridge, deep behind enemy lines.
Rangers have a great deal of time alone, which they use to write alliterative poetry bemoaning various losses and their loneliness. Here is a typical sample:
"Where went the warrior? Where went the horse?
Where fled the feaster, and the flame in the hearth?
O, sharp ash-spear! O, shield-bearer!
O, treasure-giver! How the time departed,
disappeared under darkness, so an age died.
Took away treasure-giver, the terrible missiles,
weapons whetted for slaughter, wrought desolation.
All now is engines, all now is wheels,
all is iron, all is air power.
The bloodthirsty blade is banished by gun-shots;
the canny counselor is conquered by intrigue.
Alone, unaided, answered only by fowl,
the wanderer wends his way through the deserts,
the ranger roving, ravaging the foe."
(Note: The poem, particularly the first section is inspired by The Wanderer. Apologies to the poet for my poor emulation of the style.)
Love the bike. Also, I enjoy the post-processing on the photos. We don't see that done much in DA, so good for you. Your specs are satisfied and you're ready to ride into the lonely ranger lifestyle. Good luck out there!
