Adventurers enter a dungeon's room with an uncooperative giant snake !
A set used as a scene for a tabletop RPG.
About this creation
So here's a set I made as part of a tabletop roleplaying session, quite a standard scenario : the players where adventuring in a labyrinthic dungeon and facing the foes and traps within.
In this room of the dungeon, the problem was, obviously, the giant snake who would attack, stopping the group from just crossing the room.
They have to find an alternate route. Maybe use the bridge above ? quick, run to the ladder!
Oh... of the course the bridge collapses ! And now a party member is in a precarious position... except if he wants to change his class to "dinner".
Fortunately, the dwarf has noticed the large boulder from the remnants of an past earthquake... Maybe he can make it fall on the creature ? our dwarf jumps and use a disclocated plank as lever...
...And it's an epic win ! The beast is stunned, time to leave ! Good thing no one cleans the dungeon from all thoses rocks and stuff.
Maybe the adventurers will use the trap door above instead of going through the boring doors?
Or the one at ground level? Convenient to escape the Snake without facing it. Maybe other players would use that alternate route to solve the problem ?
But of course, some players will always choose to fight. But, hey, that's role-play if you're a barbarian !
So that's all. As you noticed, this set is made of 3 connected parts, creating a room which open like a dollhouse, so every player cans see the action and place his/her character.
I used it as the place where the players start the game, letting them get used to the mechanics and explore their abilities for solving a big, but not dramatic, problem, before adventuring further in the dungeon.
Let me know what you think about this creation, and know that I will be posting more sets for roleplay in the future if you are interested !
