Pronounced The-ruh (the as in thesis).
This moc was built for round 2 of Chen's contest. This is also my second female moc. I gave her a gold and blue colour scheme in hopes of it looking worn and metallic. I think it worked well.
About this creation
Title: Thiera, Fallen Toa of Water
Kanohi: Adapted Kaukau
Colour(s): Primary: Metru Blue, Secondary: Old Gold
Weapons/tools: sword and shield
Alignment: Evil, partnered with the Dark Hunters
Status: Alive (dies in the TMW)
Abilities: agile, fast, high intellect (smart)
Thiera used to train under Xerox at the Toa Compound. She was a skilled fighter, but lacked self control. Xerox was unable to control her without violence, and as a consequence, she was kicked out of the training program.
Thiera would kill rahi for fun as she wandered, lonesome, Metru Nui. Eventually she crossed paths with the Shadowed One(who was looking for numbers to grow his army) and was recruited into the ranks of the Dark hunters. Auxiliary was tasked with training her as he was one of the few that could maintain her loss of temper with brutish reminders.
She left the Dark Hunters and fought with the Toa Elite during the Toa Makuta War. She sacrifices herself in one of the early battles to save her old friend from the compound.(Nakyta)
Front. I like the incorporation of gold on one side in this build. It looks kinda like battle damage. Even though the waist is thicker than Nakyta's I think it could have been wider at the solar plexus.
Cool shield pose. I took this piece off of Runk V2, who waits to be dismantled. The sword, which I quite like, is a Knight's Kingdom piece.
Back, mostly plain. I do however like the unorthodox shoulder connection. The shoulders have some bulky armour, however when it is removed, the figure appears more proportionate,
Another front view. I don't believe I overdid the feminine features with this moc as I have done before. Also those metru shoulders work well as a breastplate.
Thiera with Runk comparison.
Thiera with Auxialiary. Both my entries for the contest.
Thanks for viewing, and good luck to everyone else in the competition! This was fun Chen, thank you for putting it on. Next moc will probably be the original character I spoke about. I also may have just gotten inspiration for Wolf's SM, so maybe that'll happen.
