Toa of Stone(Meteor)
The pre-mutation version of my previous MOC, Meteor.
About this creation
A jovial but insecure fellow, this Toa of Stone was sent along with the rest of his team to stomp out a Visorak swarm making short work of a faraway island. Little did he know what tragedy would befall him there...

Battle ready.

Thumbs up.

3/4 front view.

Size comparison.

Helmet and torso removed for easy detail showing. The head design needs some more fleshing out, but feel free to use it as a jumping-off point for your own custom builds.

Mostly intact after pieces are stolen for Meteor.

I couldn't think of another pose.

*Fourth wall crumbles* Right about the evening before Meteor would have been due for Chen's Dark Hunter contest, I had the crazy idea to swap out the purple parts and quickly slap together a regular, un-mutated version of him as sort of a bonus MOC. Two hours later I realized this wasn't going to be some simple color swap. :P I'm surprisngly proud of how he turned out, I'll have to try building another Toa in a similar style. But after that I'm out of Ben 10 torsos, so no team unfortunately. :P Comments and Criticism are always welcome, so let me know what ya think! That's it for now, Torp out.

Quoting Ya_Boi_ Sedrak Just made an account to comment on this and remind ya of my existence. kindof forgot about legos for a bit after the gallery shut down. might post but might not idk.
GADZOOKS! ToaMataEthan?! I never expected to hear/read from you again! We were just talking about you recently on a group called "The Three Magna," I'm sure everyone would be ecstatic if you dropped by there sometime.

Literally dropped in here randomly, great to see that a great creator is still building excellent creations! I personally haven't built much Bionicle since late 2016 but wouldn't be afraid to start again! Honestly I'd love to keep in touch with you guys, and I heard about a discord server awhile ago but whenever I would check the link would be expired. If you have the link/discord in general then I would love if you could share a non-expiring link.

Quoting Runkbolt 12 My only suggestion is longer legs. I love the staff tho!
Hmm, I was going for more Bionicle-y proportions, but you're probably right, I'll keep that in mind. Yes, probably one of my favorite weapons I've built recently. Thanks!

Quoting Juppiter Augustus Furnus (JimiFurno) @Torp: The first boss of BBRPG... It's been a while since it started hasn't it now? I should probably post something eventually... We were in the middle of fighting a centipede-like-thingy or something right? =P
Over a year now, and near as I can tell we're only halfway through the planned story, no warm fuzzies about that realization. Yes we were, it's kind of a big deal. :P

It is a pretty versatile and underappreciated torso piece, probably because nobody actually bought them. :P This is actually the second time I've utilized it, first was for my version of the Tar-Clogged Rider I built last summer, but those pictures seem to be caught in computer limbo and I can't find them.

Hippogriff: "Am I a joke to you?" :P I get what you're trying to say, but remember you're talking to an animal expert, so my mind is busy seeing ways that would look good. :P

@Torp: Yeah. This MOC would kinda be missing somethin' without the limbs and head. xP I should probably try usin' the Ben10 torso at least once since I have one. (Or was that two? When you get your parts in random bags 'n' buckets you kinda lose track of whatcha got...) =P

@Torp: Regarding your joke about the feet, that's pretty much correct to be completely honest. :P Mainly because of the fact that the proportions on the feet with claws are better, and having thin ankles isn't awful if I think it's a bird, since you know, birds have thin ankles. :P To best explain this, it's like if you were to put to bird feet on a horse, scaled up obviously, but it would still look really weird, and probably terrifying. :P

That was pretty much the design mentality. :P The Ben 10 torso has a sort of neck slope built-in, but it doesn't show up well in the photos except for the details one. *makes foot design, adds claws* "Best Feet!" *removes claws* "Feet bad!" XP Yeah, the torso really is the highlight of the MOC, the rest is mostly there because it has to be. :P

A pretty solid build, nothing particularly fantastic, but nothing completely bad either. :P The arms are pretty nice, simple, but they work fine, not got any problems there, although that being said, the shoulders seem very flat to me, which isn't a big deal or anything, but generally people have like, necks or something. :P The legs/feet are probably where my biggest complaint comes from, that being that the ankles are very thin, and in general I'm not sure the Matoran feet really work on a Toa build. :P The torso is actually really clean aside from the shoulders though, so good job on that. :P
