Snow Angel
Steam powered assault sled
About this creation

This, just like the Snow Devil, is inspired by old Popular Mechanics magazine cover art. I am really happy with how the Snow Angel turned out! The two tracks make just the right amount of contact with the ground to revolve while the Snow Angel still is able to slide smoothly on the skis... almost too smoothly, I almost lost it down a hill when I was taking pictures.

The gun can pivot up and down to take out enemies. The large ammo clip is on the side.

It was really important to make the front skis turn and move up and down and I have no idea what I would have used if it wasn't for that cool piece from the spider droid.

The white thing with the smoke stack is the steam engine used to power this graceful beast.

Here you can see the rear track more easily. Track contact with the surface is needed for movement so a two track design was implemented to ensure traction.

Scary cliff up ahead.

Super lean!!

Last of all a top view. Thanks for looking!

In response to Schlumm Gruuber--- The brown track is from the Star Wars Lego Hailfire Droid 7670 set: lots of interesting parts come with it.

The whole thing looks kinda ridiculous- just like steampunk should be.

That's excellent, and bonus points for the real snow; but where'd you get brown technic chain? Beautiful, in any case. Please respond.
