WWI - France MOC
About this creation
Hey everyone! Here is the fourth MOC in my military history series. This marks the beginning of the WWI section, which consists of four 32x32 stud builds. In this particular MOC, we have a French unit that has made a mansion into their base. Their uniforms indicate that this is very early on in the war, so more than likely still within 1914. Also, as I mentioned in my Civil War MOC, this features another one of my cut off buildings. In fact, it is one of my most detailed ones since it contains multiple rooms. Here are the picture descriptions:

At the front of the MOC, you can see four French soldiers and one of their dogs taking up defensive positions. There is a tripod-mounted machine gun being manned by two of the soldiers, while a third is on the roof with his rifle and the fourth is reinforcing or repairing the door. The French flag is flying from the front of the building, and there are intricate designs carved above the doorway. The crest on the door is likely the symbol of the family who used to live in this mansion.

This is the right side of the MOC, where you can see how the fallen tree damaged the house from the side. You can also see the ladder that leads up to the roof was put in place by the marksman.

On the left side, you can see the detailed interior of the mansion. The main room features an art table, family pictures, a painting of a ship, and a chandelier. Meanwhile, the French officer is sitting at a desk in the other room, planning out his strategy for battle.

At the back of the MOC, you can see more of the study, where the French officer is seated. You can also see more of the chandelier, as well as a different view of the dirt road that runs alongside the house and the surrounding fall scenery.

That's it for this MOC! Stay tuned for the next creations in the series!

Quoting AxuBuilder _ I like that you used clip pieces to create the illusion of broken bits on the ruined wall. I also really dig the French flag. Good work!
Thanks! Making partially destroyed building walls like that is one of my favorite things to do.

Quoting Promar Quadratus Well done Craniac! That first picture really caught my eye and I had to click on it. Nice architecture around the entryway of the building, those wing pieces are a great touch. I also like the broken wall with the tree that's fallen through it, looks fantastic. Ha, is that a French Bulldog? ;) God bless and keep it up! ~Promar~
Thanks! I appreciate your comment! And yes, it is a French Bulldog. There is some type of dog in each of my WWI and WWII MOCs, plus a couple other builds in the series.

Quoting Wolf Pack Great build! The landscape is rather simple, but the house interior and exterior both look great, especially the hole in the side. Also, the dog is a nice addition.
Thanks, Wolf! :D
